Lol, the guys' logic:

"Okay guys, let's kill that Eren kid. If he dies then he wasn't a Titan. If he survives then he will attack us as a Titan to kill us all in revenge."

No wonder the Titans are winning this war.

Damn, this show is constantly tempting me to read the manga... Might take the plunge tomorrow... What the hell is up with skeleton Eren titan form... I must know!!

I really dont see why the dude even bothered asking are you a human or an eotena. If he was going to shoot them while eren responded as human and they would obviously shoot if he said eotena then why even wait for a response. Should have just shot right away and saved everyone a whole bunch of time.

That's the usual "If you're a witch you won't be drowned to death when we drown you to death" sort of thing.

Interesting spread of characters in this series, balancing out the hardass weirdos with the completely cloudcuckoolander weirdos.

In all fairness though this is a military that's been suffering defeat after defeat.

No matter how well disciplined a military is there's a breaking point to just how far they can go.

To all of a sudden be thrown a wild card they have absolutely no idea how to deal with it. They're so used to "It's a Titan so kill it" to be given a card that says "Titan...potential ally." WTF?

Though the fact that the commander is an idiot to begin with (who can't keep his cool is a bad trait to have) doesn't help matters.

Hmmm that was a very slow-paced episode, in the end the most interesting part was seeing Levi and Hanji in action.

There is a clear contrast between how Levi acts towards the dying soldier and how the squad leader from the first episode acted towards Moses' mother.
This is even more accentuated by how Levi's obsession for cleanliness was revealed to us since the beginning. The camera takes its time showing us a close up of the dying soldier's bloodied hand and you can feel that Levi would never want to touch that with a 10 feet pole, but he does anyway and with decision. That's just how great Levi is, he might act cold and dickish but he cares about his men above anything else, and he can even, seemingly easily, fight against his compulsion and quirks for them. Levi deep inside his hard shell is still human.

On the other front we got captain cowardice confronting Eren and his friends. Ironically the one who truly is no longer human is him. He is just a "small being trying to attack what he doesn't understand".

And yes. Captain Douchebag is back. Do soldiers always have to follow and obey orders, even if it order given doesn't seems right? Sounds like I'm going to cite the argument of Soldier vs Warrior. And what's with his freaky ghoul eyes anyway? He looks like a breaded muppet with that.

Their reactions are right and understandable, you don't just trust somebody who can turn into a 60 foot man eating gaint, if I was in that situation I probably wouldn't have even asked questions.

Captain Douchebag though god knows how he got into a postion of power looks like he's going to have a nervous breakdown.

Just finished watching it. The theory about Eren's father, the key, and the injection were what I thought they'd be. Just waiting for when the Recon Corps. gets more involved in the plot. Just wondering, where is Dr. Jaeger during all this? I don't remember anything happening to him.

Spoiler for End scene looked like...: First thing I thought was, "Eren knows Gear Third? (a la One Piece, for those that don't get it)". Luckily, I love OP to death, so the fact it looked similar only made me like it more. __________________
