This is one of my favourite manga. Hime is just simply too awesome for lack of a better word. The thing is the rate of new scanlations is too few and far apart.

For anyone who's up to date, how many "true" siblings does she have?

I know there are 3 princesses, being Hime, Sherwood and Sylvia and A LOT of brothers.

the latest chapter revealed that

Hime
Sherwood
Sylvia
Emil
Duken
Gilliam

are the last remaining royalty. I was half-expecting the manga to continue to introduce more random siblings to lengthen the story. Now that we know the final goal, it'll need to tell a tighter tale.

Though it looks like story will be reaching a peak soon, seeing as

I have a feeling that the manga either is going to end in about a year or there is going to be another arc, at last that is the vibe I get from the latest (untranslated) chapter. I wonder why this manga is kind of forgotten, I was hooked after watching the tv series.

I still read it as I get my hands on the chapters. It's kind of surprising a manga that mainly just refers to horror movies can stay readable for so long.
Then again, Hime is just awesome.

It isn't an understatement to say she is the soul and backbones of this series.

I guess the trick is that they keep Hime 'mysterious'
She hardly shows emotion, the only 'past' we get to see is with her older sister (little at that)
while all the while the story is still building up without noticing because of the 'monster of the week' distractions

Am I the only one who thought this... but when a royal prince/princess dies. Doesnt the Andriod desinated to them self destruct ? That was my biggest clue to know something was fishy.

I was always wondering why Hime did not wanted to became a Phoenix. So far she showed no reluctance to kill her siblings. It looks like she knew that winning the fight actually means to loose herself.
I wonder why she waited so long to turn Hiro into Flame Warrior. It's true that Hiro no longer need to protect Hime - he could live even after her death. But she should be well aware about his love to her.
What is special about Hiro? He found Hime in a world between realms of living and dead - something only Hime believed to be possible, he found Hime in alternative timeline - something no one considered possible. His ability to sense danger and to protect Hime are considered exceptional. So far only his attack capabilities were laughable, but when Hime turned him into Flame Warrior is no longer true.
