Code: HARDCORE (2D Mecha Battle Game)
Not bad for a first time game from an Indie team from Beijing, China. It's like a Super Robot Wars Platformer. It's gonna be out on PC, Mac Linux and PS4. Game Official website.

Certainly looks promising. I like how they manage to blend elements from iconic mechs or recreate them subtly. Thunderbolt reminds me of the Arbalest for example. Crimson Flame would easily fit into a SRW game too.

That said Thunderbolt reminds me more of the Gundam series actually - gun, shield and sword combo, horns, experimental all rounder mech and blue color schemes

Decided to get the game, and the campaign alone was more than worth it. There are still come cringe in dialogues and translations, but I got what I came for: A 2d action game with mecha combat.
The part that impressed me the most is the sprite works. Not only do they look great, the devs managed to make awesome cutscenes with it.
