Well, I'm back once again, and I can see this tournament has been full of emotion, rivalry, despair and... some happiness I guess.
In my case, while I'm cryin' for Nagi and Louise, feeling sorry for THE KOROMO and celebrating for Yui, today I'm gonna root for: Aisaka Taiga @ Toradora! I hope she can defeat the twin blob fish once and for all, that title "Revenge of the fallen" has to be a sign  My best scenario right now would be: Taiga vs Yui Second option: Taiga vs Kyapten or Nodoka vs Yui, where the saki girl doesn't win Normal results: Kyapten winning And I don't even have to mention what my worst scenario would be, I just hope the despair ratio can low itself a little

No one wants to lose having come this far! Both Semifinal matches this year involve a Saki character. In today's match Nodocchi is going head on against Aisaka Taiga. Taiga looked great after knocking off Maria and Azusa with some room to spare. However, Taiga faultered a bit against Isumi. It's hard to picture Isumi being stronger than Maria yet Isumi did better against Taiga. Considering how Nodocchi barely squeeked by Sanzenin Nagi and how Nagi isn't too much stronger than Maria at best, Taiga's defeat of Maria made Taiga look good. Nagi is a fair bit stronger than Isumi so Round 5 Taiga might be in trouble. Looking at preliminaries, Taiga was only slightly ahead of Hisa who is a few steps behind Nodocchi in power. Taiga did blow away the character that beat Kagami, but it seems Mikuru was boosted and abandoned for the purpose of taking out Kagami. In terms of total votes, Taiga has been leading Nodocchi since the end of Round 1. However, Nodocchi has been closing the gap as of late. Taiga and Nodocchi are now only 40 votes apart. Nodocchi has a chance to beat Taiga's total votes and beat Taiga herself in a single match. Taiga is a very tough opponent, but I think Nodocchi has what it takes to take another Kugimiya Rie character home. My prediction: Nodocchi - 50.51% Taiga - 49.49% I'm voting for Aisaka Taiga.

Considered stronger than the other remaining girl of the same series throughout the tournament. Up against a Rie tsundere loli. Taiga - Nagi The Rie Tsundere loli. Favored to win at this point in the competition. Mihoko - Rika The other girl who made top four through relatively easier opponents, had to take down another girl in her series. Considered to be have less enemies than the "stronger" girl of the same series. Yui - Shinku The heroine and the last torch bearer of a series favored before the main tournament. Usually overshadowed by another girl within her own series. What I'm trying to say is, go Mihoko!

It will be an interesting morning and following day. Maybe now we'll get those over 1,000 votes for a character matches again....or not...
By the numbers it seems like a close fight between Taiga and Nodoka...the question will be "what makes the final difference to the voters"? Tomorrow's Yui vs. Captain on the otherhand...well the numbers suggest Yui's going to slaughter Captain....but it will more likely be a close match, because that's usually what you get this late into Saimoe.
