This is such a magic girl anime. Not what I was expecting when I first heard of it but I am liking it so far.

The network stopped working and so did Anna's organs. That's some really disturbing stuff.

The impression I got, the network outage didn't cause her organs to fail, but it did, due to lack of monitoring and correction, allow a minor error in her cybernetic organs to cascade into a failure. If she had been connected to the network, she'd have been fine, because the network would have been able to correct for the error, but she would have gotten the equivalent of an "idiot light" telling her to come in to get her faulty organ looked over.

anything with innocent yuri is usually always good.

Plus this series is mainly made up of bunch of sexual jokes...
Cla-ring's panel being under the panties.
The Lion's third leg....

That nightmare fuel at the beginning of the episode:

Spoiler for Creepy as hell:

It's stuff like this that makes me remember this is a Koshi Rikudo series.

Actually, this is Masamune Shirow poking fun at himself and a character from one of his earlier series, Briareos Hecatonchires from Appleseed. Briareos was a full conversion cyborg that had an 'auxiliary cyberbrain' that allowed him to seamlessly control a body with many more limbs than the standard human body plan. In this series technology isn't as advanced and humans are perhaps less able to adapt to it, so even Nene can't make it work. The joke is Shirow admitting, '...but it's an impractical and needlessly complex design anyhow. Why did I even bother to think of it?'

Thank you very much for explaining the reference. Pretty cool that Shirow Masamune is putting meta-commentary like that in here. But I have to say that, nonetheless, that thing is pretty damn creepy looking. It reminds me of an enemy in Bloodborne or Dead Space.

I have watched the first four episodes yesterday.

What a pleasant surprise! It's both really funny and cute.
The chibi Nene chasing a flustered Clarin in those cute robots in the ED is just SO ADORABLE!!

PS: Poor Uzal assistants... I'm the only that feel bad for them?

That is one of the cruel facts of life. If you hire people just because they fill out a bunnygirl costume well they may not turn out to be competent henchwomen.

Already watched up to episode 6 of this.

Have a feeling that Clarion would one day... have an epic battle with the large bodyguard of the evil looking guy who hates late people.

Buer is funny when he's being put alone in a dark room. "there is man with an axe under mine bed!!!"

I'm enjoying this show, for some reason. I think it's mainly because of Claring...I mean Clarion. I even like her blank white version. Her and Nene's off-centre mutual devotion is a joy. As for Buer, however...I'm glad someone finds him funny, because I sure don't.

Hmm, they actually took on a slightly serious approach this week with the fire that rained down at the department. A short glimpse of Nene's past too. Are we expecting to see more of her background? And anyways, Charion's decision to ultimately save that kid also shows that she can make her own decisions.

This is a very strange series. It seems that there are three main parts grinding together that just don't fit very well; the fluffy relationship between Nene and Clarion, the rather nasty stuff happening in the background and that Buer doll thing whatever it is. The switching between fluffy, brutal and crude tones gives me a discordant feeling while watching.
