So, finally read ch.66

Kobayashi totally skipped the first two playing days.. well Shiratodai didn't play yet but looks like this side of the bracket is only full with mob schools.
I hope we will see more from the view of the other schools, even when I guess Teru will refuse to watch Kiyosumi's first match.

Of more interest might be the last seeded school, and the other partner in the finals? (given that they will have the miko team exit early). They seem to be called Senri Yama All girls from North... can't decipher what the last two kanji's are supossed to stand for. But it's either them or another dark horse.

And I hope he/she ups the ante with the games. They have been very lackluster recently.

What i'm more curious right now is Teru's power and Eisui's Jindai's power, because haitei and rinshan are already taken. Maybe something like tenhou, chihou, renhou?

The little ending clip of 25th episode shows an illuminating hand of Nine gates yakuman with Eisui's Jindai figure. Maybe that's her power? And another scene showing Teru doing a tsumo action with some temple setting (some kinda temple-ish lamp?) My thought is that's an action to do tenhou (lit. Heavenly Hand)? (saki's rinshan has a flower blooming in the setting to go with "rinshan kaihou", maybe the temple-ish setting is meant for "heavenly" setting that goes with tenhou)

But who knows, maybe the temple setting is meant for chihou (lit. Earthly Hand). Nvm, I just come up with something to kill time XD. Oh another evidence is the magazine that shows Teru in the anime, it comments on Teru that she has won on "frightening highscore hand", so that's a couple of yakuman in one game I think, or 3-4 time in a row of chihou/tenhou? XD so IMBA!

Personally I hate her guts. I'm waiting for the another badass normal like Yumi to appear and put her in her place. Even if its only for one hand.

I have bad feeling that Saki mind will overcome with her " I want to fight with my sister" and underestimate every opponent she plays with until someone teach her a lesson. (Kasumi, maybe)

However, If all team player line up doesn't change from what we have seen before, Saki won't get a chance to face Jindai or Teru.

Look like Jindai (another monster) is the 3th player before Hatsumi (4th) and, Kasumi (5th) (The last Ep of the anime also show Saki walked into the same room as Kasumi) So, Hisa vs Jindai.

I'm not sure who will play with Saki. It can be Nelly or Che Myong Fa

Quick question, I'm looking for chapters 51-56, I've got up through 50 (vol 6) and 57 onward are obtainable, but I can't find the final chapters of the initial tournament. Anyone know a good link for them? Preferably not raws.

Sounds like Volume 7. I'm pretty sure no one's done them yet because they're only low quality raws out and the anime already perfectly covered what's in them, so there's no real rush. If you've seen the anime you know exactly how the manga goes.

The tankoubon is out last month, I have the scans and translations but too lazy to actually finish them.
I also noticed many errors in mahjong terminologies I tried to use before I played mahjong at tenhou

Well I wonder, but as I remembered, Touka mentions "Shiraitodai's captain/taichou" as Teru in the same ep. So maybe the lineup at the end of the ep doesn't matter, because kiyosumi's lineup also is not the usual order of the team.

Teru is Shiraitodai's captain, just as Mihoko is Kazekoshi's captain. Regardless of her place in the line up, she will be that but from what we've seen, Teru has been playing the vanguard position for her team.
