Heh, I'd forgotten about that too. Basically soft porn (very ecchi rather than actual hentai). I was pretty annoyed by the ending though, which is probably why I forgot about it.

"Kaguya-sama wa kokurasetai" could be said to be a form of seduction. Though probably not the sort of thing you're looking for.

It's not about seduction (at least for the MC) but if you want interesting and unconventional female leads you should check it out. A lot of unconventional female roles in that story too - the antagonist female role fits your seductress criteria.

PPS I actually had a thought a month or two back about the lack of female MCs who are reincarnated into a more challenging society. Eg, in harems you sometimes see "dog" type beastkin heroine who is from a tribe that values "strength" highly. But you don't see actual female MCs like that. So I started thinking of various ideas and the main one I came up with would fit your seductress criteria... but since I'm never going to become a writer, it doesn't do you much good! (Sorry)

So yeah, would be nice to see female MCs who are comfortable about pursing sex without it being hentai...

It's not what you asked for but have you read the manga "Teisou Gyakuten Sekai"? (The World of Moral Reversal)

Basically, MC (female) is normal person but wakes up in hospital in world where sexual norms are reversed - ie girls are typically horny and aggressive and boys are typically timid and passive. Later we see something similar happen with a boy and he rather quickly takes advantage of the situation.

I brought it up as it help shows how gender/sexual norms are quite ingrained into culture.

Dunno about "latest." I think it's been a popular trope for at least 5 years, probably more. I hate it every time I see it. If I can detect from the summary that it's going to be that kind of series, I don't even read it.
