The trick seems to be not just looking at the stats, but the level requirements. A ring that is excellent for a level 15 player would be impossible to sell when it has level requirements of 40. Every tier of items can be sold, but only if they are the best of the tier they are in. I have plenty of junk that was once good items in Normal, but with level requirement of 48 they are considered worthless.

I am still using a level 13 ring on a 52 charcter. They're horrifically overpriced in the AH.

They need to fire whoever made "invulnerable minions". It is seriously retarded if it's a crowded doorway.

The trick is that whenever you sell junk to merchants, pick the merchant who stock rings. And just check his jewellery options every time you see him. My best rings are ALWAYS store-bought, as ring drops are just too rare.

I don't bother to buy rings in the Auction house. Cost too much, it's a seller's market.

Well at least you actually sold something. I've been selling stuff on the cheap but it's so bad then when I try to give them for free to people they throw it away.

Blizzard intended that you salvage such worthless items for the Blacksmith.

But they screwed up. The gold costs of smithing expanded so much at higher levels, that it become worthless to smith unless you are using level 60 Inferno ingredients. Blizzard has acknowledged the issue and stated that they will fix up the costs in the next update.

I entrusted all my essences and stuff to Kaioshin. Hopefully he'll make better use of it and not have to waste time salvaging random crap to no avail.

Huh, that's odd. I exited my game earlier to have lunch, but now whenever I try to start the D3 client, it basically gives me an "Updating Blizzard Launcher" message, and sort of just freezes there.

Good on them. I have no sympathy for Blizzard making logins mandatory and thus create the server issue. Diablo 1 and 2 both had problems with multiplayer, but no one cared because at least people could still play off line. They made their bed, now they got to lie in it.

Wouldn't be surprised if the authority there is pissed at Blizzard for the whole KESPA thingy when Starcraft 2 is out. But overall, they had valid concern because of the initial complains that Blizzard refused to refund the game atleast in Korea.

As for ill preparation... that's just doesn't fly. Plenty of games had shittier launch condition with less users. I highly doubt all those Korean MMOs all launched smoothly.

Finally got a legendary item in Act 1 Hell from some random champ pack. Obsidian Ring of Zodiac with +91 Str 3x dex/vit/int 24 all resist 14 atk speed 3% life and ignore dura. is it good? i was advised to use it forever

i stalk the AH for items. i have seen and (bought and sold) lots of cheap (20k and under) and powerful rings for instant income.

what stats do you want and how much you willing to pay? if ill find any lvl 50-55 rings ill buy em for you.

I'll probably be willing to cough up about 20k, but more or less is fine. Most important thing is vit, followed by dex. Lightning resist, attack speed, life on hit, and other goodies would be frosting but would jack up the price, I'd assume. Pretty much anything as good, since I am wearing rings from normal.
