That series is fun btw, but only if you accept that the “Godzilla” in this one is not Godzilla, but a giant Iguanosaur that can breathe radiated green-fire and dig the ground real fast like a mole. Oh, and he’s more or less a pet of the MC in that series. All the episodes are available on Youtube in case somebody is bored enough .
Have watched almost all the episodes of that Godzilla series. And it was rather entertaining for me. Glad that Godzilla has his firebreath ability there.

I have generally negative feelings of Netflix

Netflix, for those of you who don't know, does not release episodes on a weekly basis. They release them in batches. So you could have months of drought when the US version is dozens of episodes behind the Japanese release.

This being a movie mean it should not matter much, but what if this has enough interest to be a TV series one day?
This Godzilla project seems to have several incarnations.

Shin Godzilla was pretty bleak... we'll see!

That's more like the making or behind the scene than a PV.

- Have all the characters desperately try and brutally fail to destroy Godzilla to win back the earth.

Then at the end, the characters realize Godzilla is alone--it doesn't have anywhere to go, as it's actually the earth's way of repairing itself to make it livable again. And if humanity defeats Godzilla they realize they're dooming their own survival.

...or something like that. I dunno. I haven't had much sleep the past 48 hours

Looks somewhat similar to the American/MonsterVerse version.

Godzilla looks great. The characters... Well, they look like Polygon characters.

Wavehawk, be careful what you wished for because it might come true . Here’s how Godzilla will look in the anime:

None of the trailers for this new film have impressed me so far, but then again JP couldn't cut the Shin Godzilla trailers to be interesting to save its life and that turned out to be excellent. And yeah this G really does resemble the 2014 variant down to the head-to-body gigantism

Treezilla? Heck, even his dorsal fins look like fossilized leaves.

Now that is a trailer...is what I would say if the first and 2nd half were its own things. They're both good trailers but convey entirely different feelings
