So basically this is a remake of Tim Burton's 1984 short film of the same name, though that one was done with people and this one isn't. I have to say seeing black and white hyped me big-time as soon as I saw the trailer before watching Avengers. Did a search and turned up nothing, so here it is.

Its pretty funny that the original short film caused Disney to fire Burton for "wasting company resources", and now he's remaking it for disney.

To think, it's been almost 30 years since I first saw this film (and 30 years since I first became aware of Tim Burton). I don't know if I'm happy or sad that Burton has remade one of his classics (though the trailer looks very cute), but I will see the film when it is released (though, I am reluctant to support Disney currently).
