I keep trying to think of reasons to reduce the massive redundancy in Tier III, but... I like 'em, and they play differently.

T-25 (premium, picked up as a XP/cash farm for the Panther attempt)

Current grind targets are a Panther (much sooner) and an IS (oh the pain). I'll have to hit the VK3002DB and KV-13 along the way, but don't plan to keep them (much as I dumped the M3 Lee as soon as I possibly could).

Yeah, I got rid of the VK 3002 DB as soon as I got the Panther myself. It just doesn't suit the general playstyle of German tanks (which is to say take potshots at enemies at long range), and even its last gun is grossly inadequate for its role as a flanker.

For the VK 3002 DB: Use the first turret and the L/70. That should give you the speed and agileness to circle enemies and sting them to death.

Interesting tidbit, I was watching the various "Tank Intels" -- I didn't realize the "Circle of Death" actually had a name. It's called "Carousel" ..

Speaking of the Wargaming.net Tank Intel series, I found it funny how even the staff admitted that the M3 Lee was a terrible TERRIBLE tank that people had to endure to advance up the US tech tree. "Headless Horseman of a tank" indeed.

yeh working on the line that leads to KV-1, on tier 3 atm. Hope tier 4 isn't as painful.

Ditto. Tier IV is where you start to feel inadequate, especially when the matchmaker throws you into, oh, Tier VI matches (where your gun is likely not to be able to even DENT your enemies). ^^; This even worse if your tank is a scout tank.

But hey, like Knackwurst I kept my Tier IV, except for me it's the poor B1. Ahaha.

Very little, unless you're a completionist. :P Heck, I've found Tier VII battles with my battle tedious affairs, especially when you're at the bottom of the list (meaning the ones on top are stuff like E-75s).

When you're on top though it's a different matter.

Either I'm getting better at sniping, or I was in the right place at the right time... Whichever it was, I somehow managed to kill 3 tanks in a match in my most hated tank (that will be sold within the next hour now that I've unlocked all the lines that follow it).

If only my teammates hadn't decided that, rather than do a group charge on the single guy defending the base, they would smack talk with the guy instead.
