Late reply, but the animation studio is Madhouse which did the Tsubasa OVA's.

No. Madhouse is the studio that animated Card Captor Sakura. Production I.G animated the Tsubasa OVAs.

0& even if it was the same studio that worked on Tsubasa Chronicle (which it isn't as Same_Shark pointed out), it doesn't mean it'll be anything like Kobato.

Madhouse have actually handled a lot of CLAMP's adaptations over the years.

I pray to every single deity in history that Ali Project does not have anything to do with this anime.

Yeah i'm hoping that as well. Their music just wouldn't fit in with this series at all.

I don't think Ali Project's gonna be involved (even though I like them). I think Ceui or CooRie or maybe the seiyuu doing Kobato (who has not been announced yet) could do the theme songs!

Kaori Utatsuki & KOTOKO could easily record theme songs for Kobato since they've done "cute" many times before. Aki Misawa's voice is also nice enough to record a song.

I'd like Makino Yui to sing a song for this. OP or ED would be fine.

Speaking of Makino Yui, is it just me or does she seem to be the ideal voice for Kobato?

Yeah i agree, she's pretty much perfect. I hope the fact that she voices Sakura doesn't mean she can't voice Kobato.

Hi friend! Yes, I was worrying about that too. Man, I can't wait to watch this.

If I'm not mistaken, there isn't a seiyu who has voiced different characters in different CLAMP series.

It has happened before. For example, Maaya Sakamoto voiced Tomoyo in Tsubasa Chronicle, and Suu in the Clover music video.

On that note, I think Clover fans are still waiting for the dames to finish off that story.

Sakamoto Maaya: why am I not surprised that she's the "special" one? On yet another note, Tomoyo's other voice (Iwao Junko) also had a role in the movie version of X. Maybe, Tomoyo is REALLY special?

Two of the voice actors have been announced.

Kobato: Kana Hanazawa

Ioryogi: Tetsu Inada

Reminds me of those actors who are chosen to voice roles in anime movies (the female lead in Girl Who Leapt Through Time as an example).

Hanazawa Kana as Kobato!? WIN!!! She's awesome as Sharon (Pandora Hearts) and Yuuka (Kyoran Kazoku Nikki)! This makes me happy!

Hmm, I like the clip of her that was posted, but when I looked up Tetsu Inada and saw Kurogane I'm wondering if that would be too deep for Ioryogi. I know he's one smack talking, hard drinking character, but he's also a stuffed animal! But who knows, I couldn't remember his voice from any of the other roles so I bet it will be fine.
