Basara turns an entire fleet of Meltrandi into fangirls

Bridge Bunny Sally with a WTF expression: Anyway Basara's singing appears to be working.

Exsedol tricks UN Spacy at firing Macross canon, Letting Basara do his thing.

Loli Bridge Bunny Miho Miho: Excellently done Advisor Exsedol!

Sexy Bridge Bunny Sally: We have to go for a date sometime! <3

Exsedol: You're embarassing this old man. *blushes*

Jamming Bird Auditions or Macross 7 Idol

Max: Jamming Birds wonder if it will work?

Exsedol: Well at least even if it fails we get to see young girls in bikini.

Any time "Yak, Deculture" is said in DYRL. I love how it sounds.

I was just watching Do You Remember Love, and there's a ton of lines and scenes that stand out:

The best was Misa's line at the very end about the song, Ai, Obeiteru Imasu Ka:
"Of course it was... a love song."
In just a short sentence, it summed up the entire film, and perhaps the entire Macross franchise.

Another was Hikaru and Misa landing on a desolate planet:
Misa: "Where are we?"
Hikaru: "How should I know?"
...
Misa: "In any case, we're on a strange planet."

And then there was that playful scene in Saturn's rings, starting with Hikaru creating a halo using his Valkyrie.

Spoiler for More Do You Remember Love:

All in all, the movie was just chock-full of great moments. It may not be the most complete exposure to the story of SDF Macross, but I find it amazingly beautiful.

Speaking of DYRL, here is a scene I find most memorable. It occurred during the final segment of the film where Hikaru said, to Misa:

"During the days we were alone on Earth, I have DECIDED I want nobody but YOU by my side"

This was the very quote that right any wrongs done in the original televised broadcast. Hikaru was never this direct in the original series when he should have been. Yes, he eventually confessed his love for Misa, but done in a way that was not to be very satisfying. But the DYRL confession was definitely spoken through the heart.

Male anime characters since Hikaru rarely confessed so directly on screen. Sometimes, the soap opera approach effectively kills the entire show. There comes a time when people just need to be more... direct.

- Tak (Max was direct, too. But you know, Max is a genius... rejection was not an option nor a possibility)

(Macross comes crashing back to the ground).
Global: What a piece of junk this ship turned out to be.
Misa: That's refurbished parts for you, sir.
Global: Gah.

...

Global: Don't you worry, I'm sure we can fold right back, seeing how we made it here in one piece.
(phone rings. Global answers it)
Global: Yes? What?! .... I see. I'll be right over.
Global (to the bridge crew): Apparently, the fold system has vanished into thin air.
Global: :sigh: Looks like this is going to be one long trip.

These just show good parody skillz!

As for a fave scene, I'll give one from a Macross series that hasn't been mentioned:

Near the end of the 4th episode of the Macross Zero OVA, after going all Earth Girl Arjuna, Sara sings with the forest...

Shin: That's why you were singing back then ... in place of the injured woodland creatures. (He sings along.)

Sara: (Surprised.) Shin. (A slight smile) Are you singing for the wounded forest? For Maya and its villagers?

Shin: My reason's not that great. Sara ... I'm doing it for you, whose wounds no one is healing.

(Imagery: A flower blooms.)

Sara accepts Shin's song and tears fell from her eyes.

Given the revelation at the start of this episode, Shin's words have great emotional impact. Yeah, I'm a sucker for romance, so shoot me!

I dunno right, GAR Bobby piloting the Macross 1/4 is my favorite scene even more so than all the beautiful missile spamming.

To be honest I don't have a lot of Macross under my belt. Most of my Macross is movie-based, but hopefully I can change that.
My favorite Macross scene(s) is still the 'My Boyfriend's A Pilot' bit in episode 4, where the two combatants essentially act out the song, and then Ranka acts out what Alto did as a dodge maneuver seconds before, but in a cutesy and accidental way, which corresponded to the Fold incident and the fight with Vajra soon after.
My other favorite is from the same episode right after Alto defeats the one girl in the gray machine. I think the one major emphasis in this series is that Alto has the nickname 'Princess' for a specific reason. He deserves it when he does stuff like 'that'. x_x

I love that line and for some reason that scene is one of the most memorable scene from Macross for me.

Did the number of missiles they fired at each other come to same amount as the number of lunches owed? I'm think Isamu fired only 2 missiles, while Guld was in the 6-10 range.

My favourite brief short scene in ep 8 of MF. A typical highschool pevert comedy which I take in with joy nonetheless.

Spoiler:

I really liked the way how Sheryl screamed those words and somehow reminded me of Kaname's (Full Metal Panic!) VA when facing similar circumstances.

I tried to count and I am pretty sure that Guld shot 13, which was the exact amount of lunch that he bought for Isamu. That's interesting I never realized that the exact amount of missile that shot equaled to the exact amount of lunch that they bough for each other.

Macross 7 Plus- Seven Bridge

Goes to show that no matter how old Max is he's still pimp.

Unlike a certain Macross Quarter captain who takes advantage of bridge bunnies, it's the bridge bunnies that try to take advantage of Max!

Hahaha... Sexual Harassment... <_< Macross is gold.

That might be my new favorite quote. "zZzZzZzZ Never take your eyes off the monitor!" "YES SIR! *Scurry*" "zZzZzZZz...."

Back to the missile thing... You know I never actually noticed that but now that I think of it I seem to recall the small amount of missiles vs the large amount... I suppose it ends up being the little things you have to watch for huh? Whenever I make anything for anything I always try to put a little bit of 'little thing' in it.

And she have no problem mentioning it so casually to Alto..

Hah oh yeah the, "That's too graphic.." bit? That got a chuckle out of me.

One of the funnier scenes for me was at the very end with Sheryl's exceptionally wonderful outfit and Alto's outburst of distaste for her reason for being where she was.
Michael gives out a line to smile at when he sees the panty-monster.
And then there's my favorite line over Michael from this entire series so far:
Spoiler for What Sheryl thinks of Michael:
Anyone else think the middle 'Macross Frontier' commercial break was funny too?

I knew that Zentradi already knew about booze and learned about sex from us but did we really need to culture them with that disgusting habit?
