Hmm, an Infinite Stratos clone. I like it because of the mech designs mostly, as the rest is generic harem LN adaptation fare.

Now, why would the first princess be marked by the old kingdom's seal... that's a mystery alright. The Romeo/Juliet the Prince and Princess is actually what's drawing me the most, as they both seem to be connected to the same white haired bloke. Possibly the trauma of fives years ago had left them to forget the other? Well, the other dragon riding LN adaptation did it, so why not here as well?

In some ways, but I think the setup is more interesting. A much more charged political situation and a competent (in a fight anyways) male lead. If he avoids being as dense as a doorpost then this show can easily surpass IS. That may not be a high standard, but you have to start somewhere.

So they cut/change Lux's first meeting with Krulcifer. I was looking forward to that since the scene was beautiful...
Still a pretty good adaptation overall

Also I might be the only one but I think Lux's voice is OK

Even if the MC is dense it's not going to be as bad as IS
IS was about 80% harem cliches and 20% action( Which mostly sucked)

While here it is battle heavy( Damn good ones ) with a healthy amount of harem cliches and the awesomeness of our heroines can make up for the denseness he might show

This was a bit more generic than I thought it would be. It does leave a better impression than Infinite Stratos, so I'd like to see how things develop.

Hmm I haven't been keeping up with the LN, but it looks like we'll get to at least v5 based on the OP? Well not that it matters so long as they do best girl arc's justice. Though it's going to be quite the adjustment going from an alpha protagonist in Rakudai to the typical beta harem lead...

That is actually a fair point. Lux has really had it worse than most. Hard to say what his life was like outside the court, but it's not like he was living it up like his other siblings might have been. Pushed out of the court and then when the dust settles....he's a criminal, getting to pay for the actions of those who isolated him in the first place.

Of course I'm sure few even care to look into his past and realize they are basically punishing someone who has nothing to do with the crimes of the old empire. Just want someone to blame and he's darn convenient. After all....he's not dead.

All in all a fair decent first episode. There's some charm in it. Not very fond of the MC that is too young for my tastes. And sadly I'm not into this kind of heroine, sure they toned her down fast.
Still the most interesting character to me is Krulcifer and reading they cut her parts, even if highly foreseeable, is not promising.
I'll go for the three episode rule for this one.

The first episode is so horribly generic it was pretty much standard first episode for magical highschool harem shows. Still I like to keep 1 fanservice show per season and I don't see any other candidates except this show.

If I had to guess is due to the loli, previously tsundere, main girl. They seem to fit well considering they look and feel particularly young. And it's not a bad idea if she is the girl he will end up with, as all the unsubtle hints seems to point to

They seems a good match.

Oh, forgot to say that Krulcifer is interested in the black sword of MC, and given the flashback I'm expecting she is the onee-chan of that guy the MC inherited the sword from.
