Yeah it's really short. While I was checking the file I upped to our server on spyware and stuff I noticed that actualy the biggest thing in the demo is the op video lol.
Ah btw, you can download all the stuff from our site, the Japanese servers are slower than slow lol. Reconquista was added too.
The neko thing in the little busters trial is hilarious
Anyone heard the op single by chance? It's awesome!

This was just too funny, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. The battles was more like a upgraded version of Tomoyo's combo attacks from Clannad.

謙吾「真人よ…」
謙吾「おまえはどうして猫なんて持ってるんだ?」
真人「…武器だよ…」

and

真人「ああ、オレの武器っ」
真人「誰か、新しいネコをくれっ、一際凶暴なのをだっ」

lol at the sudden battle right from the beginning.

I think you mean Masato.

"Somebody, get me a new cat! The meanest one you got!"

Unagi piewww

0 damage to Rin!
The unagi pie broke!
"Uwaaaaaaaa--------! My unagi pieeeeee--!"

lolol

Still, what's up with the trial being only 10 minutes long?
Is that an actual battle where you input commands or just a joke event where you click the mouse and it plays out like a normal visual novel?

I sorta heard that gripe from others who have played the demo as well. 196 MBs for the demo, and the OP video takes up a greater part of it (130 MBs?). No wonder they only managed to fit that much of the story...

Can't wait to see more of Kud though.

Oh, and note to self: Do not use pastries to fight against people armed with sansetsukon. Durability is unassured.

On a semi eroge-unrelated note, the official website for Ar Tonelico 2 has been revamped yet again. A few new characters and a changed start page, to name a few.

It's a pretty much good thing when you can listen to the BGM for hours on end without getting tired of it. Just makes you feel like going on an adventure~

There are no commands outside of scrolling the text.

I'll just stick to my Alicesoft, Eushully and Pajamasoft games then.

@MeganeShounen:
The vid is exactly 133mb and the actual demo 86mb.

A thing that would be interesting to hear:
What do you expect of Little Busters? Since a Key game is always something special it'd be nice to hear some opinions

Not that I'm nitpicking on Key or anything, nor am I seeing too many patterns between their works.. but I'm expecting to see cute girls that each have their own special backstory (from seemingly normal to absolutely magical).

Wait, I'm already seeing the "cute girls" part.

Also, at least one of them has to have a certain relationship with the protagonist prior to the story.

Last but not the least, at least of the girls should have a very cute catchphrase... just like Ayu's "Uguu~", Makoto's "Auuu~" and Misuzu's "Gao~". If we can't have that, an unusual habit would also do (like Nagisa's habit of saying the names of foods she would like to eat).
Anything like that in the demo so far?

Nope the only girl in the demo is Rin and she's kind of a Tsundere type, but i wouldn't be to shocked if Komari does something like that...

Well about the fighting, we haven't seen Riki fight yet so it might work differently then but i highly doubt it.

We already have that one though, Rin is Riki's childhood friend.

It's a TV series that'll air in the Fall (October).

Considering the protagonist didn't actually battle in the demo, and looking at the stats screen, I think there's a good chance some interactive battles will occur.

And I'm sure you mean games of those companies that have actual gameplay right?

Yes, an H-Game has to have actual gameplay for me to consider it beyond a CG pack download.

The ef anime is probably a good news, although I have reservations about SHAFT doing it >.> .

Even the battle IS interactive, I think there's a good chance it will be along the lines of throwing neko and unagi pies

Holy high standards! It's obviously a bit simplified (as it must be for animation), but I'd say that's actually a pretty good and faithful rendition. If it looks like that in motion, I'd say they're doing pretty well to stay true to the game art. IMO, of course. It'll never look exactly like the CGs.

Of course, it will take one big of a hella of an effort for the animators to properly animate any of Naru Nanao's designs (Da Capo animes and sola comes to mind). It is a good thing that SHAFT do not choose to butcher the designs any way they like (Negima!? comes to mind).

Good job SHAFT, you convinced me this time.
