Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter as well as discussion of said chapter once it has been released.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc. Additionally, if you are posting another's synopsis (or their translation of a synopsis), then please provide credit were credit is due.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant parts of the chapter. This stands for pictures and direct translations. Summaries are OK, crops of pictures are OK as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

Some of the black part of him travelled underground popped up to absorb Minato's part of the Kyuubi before returning to Obito's body.

Lets see to recap. naruto and sasuke seem dead everyone is out of chakra madara now has both halves of the fox and yet we all know naruto is somehow going to win. As for how he survives here's my prediction Sakura will use tensei ninjutsu for those who don't know its the technique that old lady chiyo used to save gaara. Naruto will realize sakura sacrificed herself for him rage enough to get his own rinnegan (he is related to nagato after all) and seal madara some freaky kinda way idk feels about right

if I may answer that it might be because madara once held the summoning contract for the kyuubi so he knew it was split when he tried to summon it from naruto plus its been shown the sharingan can see inside where the fox is like sasuke did don't know if that's why but its an explanation nonetheless

Nope they will use the Kyuubi chakra from Kin and Gin to save Naruto.

He just did what Zetsu's been doing since forever: travelling through the earth.

Madara didn't teleport either. He was shown jumping around just before he arrived.

Either that or they'll use the chakra from the ninja tools. Seems pointless to have included that part otherwise, especially right after showing how they could see Gaara and Naruto nearby.

The rinnegan thing is out though. If anyone upgrades to it it will be Sasuke. It's been established that a rinnegan comes from a sharringan, not an Uzumaki. Madara's the only one to gain them naturally and let Nagato "borrow" them

now are they going to use the tools to take out the tailed beasts from Madara?(after ressing Naruto and sasuke). By the way didn't Nagato/pain have his rinnegan without using Madara's eyes?

They say in plot writing, you can usually tell what will happen if you pay attention the "pointlesss" occurrences that are written into the plot. Mainly because nothign is "pointless" if the author decided to waste time writing it in. Like in those old murder mystery shows, the random character who keeps getting screen time (butler, maid, friend etc) are usually the culprit.

In this case, Madara decides to randomly spit out the ninja tools that happen to contain a piece of kyuubi chakra in them? Pointless coincidence? Oh nay nay!

As others have pointed out, I think Kishi is setting it up so that Naruto will have to fight without Kyuubi powers. It seems like a insult towards naruto the whole series has been "he would suck without the kyuubi".

The ninja tools thrown out will used to save naruto from the "death by bijuu extraction" rule.
Kyuubi's other half will also be stolen (as happened during this chapter), and the Naruto will be left with only a tiny tiny amount of kyuubi chakra.

Hes going to kick all their asses using some other epic senju stuff no one has ever seen along with talk-no-jutsu and team-work.

All in all, pretty enjoyable chapter.

so whoever the mystery person is, they have a scary chakra. that rules out pretty much anyone aside from the so6p, his sons, izuna and possibly a new character ...i think. maybe it's obito's dad
