That's the first thing I thought when I saw the pic lol.
It looks like Shou's catch phrase or w/e will be "With you, I'll fight" or something along those lines, if the writing on the scan is what he says when he pulls objects from people.

I like his voice work so I glad he has main roles in this show.

Staff updated : http://www.guilty-crown.jp/staff-cast/
Character Designer : Hiromi Kato Animation direction : Toshiyuki Yahagi, Satoshi Kadowaki Main animators : Kyouji Asano, Takaaki Chiba Mechanic Designer : Atsushi Takeuchi Art director : Yusuke Takeda Prop Design : Hiroshi Moriyama Pleased to see the talented Yusuke Takeda for art direction. It seems Hiromi Kato (Kobato, Needless) has followed Araki and left Madhouse... Also I don't see studio Ordet listed and Satoshi Kadowaki is credited as animation director, I'm wondering about Ordet's future situation since Yamakan has retired. Anyway this update brings more appealing names. Gallery's also updated : http://www.guilty-crown.jp/gallery/illustration/

Getting really excited about what the industry is doing with settings and backgrounds this year. Amazing that we just came from what I was calling the era of the generic school and countryside setting. What a complete turnaround in imagination this year on that front. It was getting to the point where if I had to see one more season chock full of desks, classrooms, sun bleached windows, hardwood floors and fenced rooftops ocassionally supplemented by the most idealized open field of grass and flowers I was going to probably scream.
Seriously so nice to see actual cities again more often than not. |

But hey, one out of six isn't so bad. At least no field of flowers on sight. ... Kaioshin? But seriously, I love the design of the city. Postmodern architecture with signs of heavy post-apocalyptic industrialization ... perfect backdrop to some intense battles. Will be interesting how they utilize the terrain here.
