Nothing like a season of Natsume Yuujinchou to make any anime season instantly better, and the premier ep for season six definitely adds extra enjoyment to the Spring 2017 season for me.

I really liked the angle of Tanuma and Taki being able to get a small glimpse into bits and pieces of how Natsume came to be the Natsume they know. On the whole an excellent episode

Ah, and Nyanko-sensei is great as usual.

The best show of the season finally starts. The OP had some beautiful artwork and scenery. I think this is the first time we've had an OP/ED with just Natsume and Nyanko-sensei (and Reiko). They're great, but at the same time, not seeing all the friends that Natsume has made throughout the seasons, human and youkai/ayakashi, feels a bit melancholic.

I mean, it was a good episode and all, but I really hope that Tanuma and Taki will get more solo focus later on... (instead of the exorcists that I really couldn't care less about)

Yaaayy!!! The best show is here!

Although most episodes have a wistful atmosphere, oddly I find them quite relaxing to watch. This first episode was no different. It's interesting to see Natsume's "past" mix in with his present - makes you feel sad for his little boy self but happy that his future will be a lot brighter.

That was such a fantastic story to start the season with. This episode brought tears to my eyes quite a few times, as I was reminded of what Natsume had to go through during his childhood, and how he couldn't bring himself to believe he had such a nice life now.

Lots of Reiko in the OP, I hope it means we'll see her more this season.

That has to be one of my favorite OP songs this season now.

It hasn't been long but really glad to see the show return again.

Run of the mill story this week. Nothing really special about it. Only thing that stood out to me was Natsume telling himself he isn't alone anymore.

Liked this episode, better than the first one.
Always like the stories dealing with youkai friendships and the strong bongs they attach to a special someone they meet.
Glad this one, they found eachother, since there's been quite a few where they just go off on a journey to find them and you can just wish them luck.
Once again, baka beginner exorcist messing things up

Liked the circle gang appearing again, and found it funny how popular Natsume is to them.

ep 2 was sad how he can't go home and lost his stonewasher skill because of some ignorant exorcist.

ep 3 was creepy...having dolls stalk you is freaking creepy.

Another very good episode, and one that was interesting in that it showed the next small but valuable baby step in Natsume's relationship with an old friend improving. Heh; didn't expect him to pop up again though! XD

And btw, the lyrics for the ED are quite lovely!

Definitely the last guy I expected to turn up again. Though I suppose it does show Natsume's growth and how he's changed. Become someone who is willing to trust his friends more and tell them what is going on. Also realizing that others also want to reach out to him and feel bad if they drag him into problems.

And yeah, creepy dolls are just unsettling.

LOL Nyanko-sensei had one request and that was to not speak in front of Shibata. I though he could pull it off till the end.

I never thought we'd see Shibata again either. He left me with a much better impression than in his introduction episode. This time, he and Natsume really became friends. Heartwarming.

Yes, but at one point Tanuma was showing Nyanko-sensei the talisman, so I thought that meant Shibata was in on the secret. Guess not.

Meanwhile, I had to laugh when I saw the rotary phone in Natsume's house. But then I realized that none of those kids have cell phones. Is this show supposed to be set in modern times, or is it in the 70s/80s?
