It's not the tank, it's [expletive] Tier 1 and 2 idiot parties where the Tetrarch cannot afford to screw up once, since its armor won't stop a light breeze. And on a practical level, muddling around below Tier 3 is bad for my performance ratings, plus I have no interest in using any other Soviet light tanks (tried both BT-2 and BT-7, yay, fast, still felt like I was pointlessly wasting time when I have 12 other projects), so... hey, how about that IS-6? |

The 183 is extremely hard to hit *and* pen things with without the half of the enemy team bombing it to death upon spotting. Although those moments when I *did* pen were side-splittlingly hilarious, and solidified this TD as a definite keeper. I'm not doing well in it because it demands an exceptionally careful play style that the rest of the British TD line unfortunately didn't prepare me for. The rear-mounted turret also prevents me from doing "hit-and-run" corner maneuvers. So I think I'll focus on playing the tanks I'm good at right now, whatever tier they are. Save perfecting that high-alpha beast for another time and just do daily doubles for it.

Actually managed to do that last night. I didn't quite ram a light tank into the drink, but I managed to get them to slide off the edge and into the water. Bonus points for being a Panzer III.

FV215b(183): You can obliterate tanks in one shot, and are relatively soft and squishy... of course people want to kill you. |

Tell me something I haven't known for the past 3/4 of a year, Sherlock. Ever since I got my first tier 8, I've been seeing those 183s get instantly vaporized on the battlefield. I've looked up topics on the TD extensively to determine whether I wanted it, and I've seen several people comment on how it's the ultimate arty bait. I actually knew what I was getting into when I bought the 183 and pressed the "battle" button.

Had north spawn, went to guard the pass with three low-tiers (thank goodness the other team didn't rush). The low-tiers all went a bit too far toward the bridge and died.
Made the most of their wreckage. 960 HP can really push things. Got some lucky bounces from the T1HT's mantlet, too. Last edited by Gravitas Free Zone; 2013-10-07 at 10:46. |

Unlocked the T-34-85's top gun last night. I think I should have used up all my earlier 85mm, because it's using different rounds. -_-;;
Not really much going on with the tanking front; I've got 4.7 million credits, and I think I'll take a break to play other things for now...
