what is the actual volume names for volumes 19 and 20? is it "a civil war among devil kings" or "war of the devil kings"? one colored pic in v20 just says a civil war 2... but i'm seeing the second name elsewhere as well.

I suddenly have a question (so pardon me for necromancing this thread ): Had Rama encountered Circe, would he have been screwed?
U know because Circe is super OP against male hero Gods . Well, of course there is that covenant/fate thingy that empowers Rama, but I'm just wondering

Well I have two idea's.
1: No because he is "pure" or "divine" thus her attempt would be futile. 2: Yes she might be able to steal some of his power but Rama's shadow (his brother) would get pissed and kill her without a second thought. i.e. "How dare you try sully my brother" (Rama's brother absorbs all negative, twisted things etc. from his brother so he can stay pure.) thus the little brother petty but protective. Side note: I don't mind your necromancy in this case.

Then again, this is a story about a mishmash of different myths, so anything goes. (note that the author has actually done a very detailed research on the myths, but it is just that he prioritizes rule of cool in a good way). |

Even Verethragna's authorities got the short of stick even though (IIRC) he was just the embodiment of "victory", "Dragon-slaying, damsel-saving" hero . And I don't think V-tan would have been "tempted"
Yet Rama is the "pinnacle" of such archetype Of course...maybe Godou got screwed over because he himself was a casanova Butto my point, do the Gods have to be susceptible to temptation for Circe's power to work?

Uhm, I mean, victory is very different from loyalty: Zeus is another god who partially symbolizes victory (though he admittedly does it more through his daughter Nike), and I have 0 doubts he would have been tempted. Verethragna is admittedly quite impersonal, but he also was a god of sexual vigour (like most gods of war), so I think it's not a stretch.
Most Gods associated with war and dragon slaying I believe would fall (i.e. Mars, Perseus, etc), unless the power they have against Earth Goddesses would naturally void the temptation, which is a significant possibility. Campiones only get 'one' authority, but gods have plethora of utility powers that could help them in these kind of situations. |
