No evidence at all; almost certainly fake. I don't think it really makes sense to make an anime out of the franchise, when the movies already had infinitely more reach than anime could ever dream of. I think we shouldn't post rumours in this thread unless there is at least a credible, linkable source.

A Harry Potter anime would be cool though. It might not be able to beat the movies in reach, but it could very easily trump them in quality.
