If it was the Belkan sigil, you'd have a point, but the Mid sigil isn't really what you'd call original.

And while the Midchildan sigil isn't exactly original, the sigil used here is undeniably THE Midchilda Sigil

I asked the author a time ago and s/he said the name resemblance with the game/anime title "School Days" was just a coincidence, and no one was going to die in this series, like in the official one.

Really? Except for Nanohaan Strikers it seems like it's always Nanoha who's being pervy and/or aggressive and Fate who's shy, girly, generally embarrassed, or just not getting it. It goes hand in hand with:

I dunno. I always thought Nanoha seemed to be the more Masculine one. You know, what with always going headlong into battle, blowing things up and generally being the agressive personality while Fate's kind of soft and friendly as well as resserved... just take one glance at Vivio's falling down scene in strikers. Who acts more like 'Be tough!' daddy, and who's the doting mommy?

Don't know why ether, I would like to see a change as well, but from Vivio' Wiki Entry: Nanoha tends to be strict with her, while Fate tends to spoil her giving both "moms" a little role reversal personality-wise

It might sound a bit simple, but Fate is just taller and physically stronger than Nanoha. Moreover she is always the one protecting Nanoha (i.e A's when she appears between Vita and Nanoha) or conforting her (i.e StS when Vivio is kidnaped or in the A's manga : here ). So in the end, if I had to choose who is more the man in there relationship, it would be Fate even if there is nothing "masculine" in her from an "external" point of view ^^.
