Yes, but I'm wondering what Zesu and everyone else was told with regards for the reason for their invasion. Also, there is the possibility, however minimal, that the King is the one that is deceiving Lygatto, which would provide a big twist in the story. But, that's most likely not true .

On one hand she has promised reinforcement to aid krishina but secretly she has instructed her general to take his time and watch from the sidelines without endangering his troops. And also to allow krishina to be defeated so orlando's forces can have an easy time defeating a weakens and overly spread out Athens invasion forces. I am wondering how the Orlando Empire is going to play a role in the upcomming battles ahead as it's leader has plans already set.

So far, interesting series, at least it doesn't play out like some (space) opera like some MAJOR mecha franchises (GUNDAM SEED and 00, I'm looking at you two)

And I think I can do that without killing the king; make him gay and pair him up with Zess.

Also, am I abnormal for not being attracted to the

12 year old female character who looks 18, and a 25 year old female character who looks 10.

Not possible. First of all, Zess is happily married to a beautiful and understanding wife and has a 2 year old daughter. Furthermore, if i remember correctly from some earlier posts, Hodr is interested with the Queen of Orlando.

When has there ever been a hint that Hodr was interested in the queen of Orlando? I thought he just wanted orlando's help. Well if he is interested, he's in for a big surprise . I wouldn't take it above her to marry him and then kill him...

Another thought maybe i missed it but how are they getting lygatto his mech back? Since they holed themselves in the city I guess either:
A. they already fished the mech out of the canyon.
B. time to dig up a new and more powerful one? Maybe with better armor and a gun?

I really hope they find dirfinge and lygatto doesn't get a new mecha because that would start taking it on the path of gundam where the protagonist loses his original and gets a new/better one. Dirfinge was special because there was only one of it's kind. If they start digging another one out then the suit loses it's value. Not to mention the fact that if they find another one what are the chances it's blade on the head is broken?

It fell off a cliff so it's debatable whether it's been destroyed or not. But mechas can usually endure a fall or two.

If I recall, was not the Difringe cockpit suppose to have been created a lot sturdier than the majority of the armor, so it would be a good bet that it would have surivied being thrown of a cliff. Also, if the cockpit is still intact and all those components within it is still intact, then the only repairs that would need to be done would be fixing/replacing the arms/legs of the golem.

Well it is tough to tell because there's a time skip (a month?) but i would imagine somebody mentioning repairs upgrades on difringe but i dont recall anyone saying anything especially the enemy is almost at the doorstep. Lygatto is pretty much still depressed so he probably doesnt care.

I dont mind an upgrade really - the world is not like in gundam where the mech can spam lasers on like 20 targets at once.

Hopefully you are correct with an upgrade. What I wonder is if they ever retreive Difringe, how are they going to improve the armor. They use Quatz to manipulate the creation of armor but I was wondering if they are going to use the old fashion fire and steel metallurgy to create a more durable armor.

Lol, I am tempted to say that Hodr might trade up for a lighter model. Anyway, I am wondring what part the Queen of Orlando will play in future chapters now that she plans on allowing the two contries to waste their millitary resourses on each other before taking action.

if the mangaka wants to continue with orlando i suspect...

Athens and Krisna forces duke it out, Lygatto beats Borcuse and they call it a truce or Athens forces retreats. Orlando then takes the opportunity to attack Athens on the pretense that it is helping its ally Krisna. Lygatto feels obligated this time to help his OTHER FRIEND Zess out. Zess is too good in the story to be just left out there in the end - he needs to do some damage again. And in the end I suspect Lygatto gets the awesome owl - he is so much cooler than other manga's obligatory pets

Well after their first fight, brocuse doesn't even think lygattos worthy of fighting him so lygatto has to improve his fighting skills first otherwise Borcuse won't fight him.
