The Boruto anime will end at the end of the month. A "part 2" is already confirmed, but it'll probably take a couple years given the slow pace of the manga.
I guess they were tired of wasting resources on a series with 80% fillers. It would have been better if they had ended it right before the timeskip, but the manga still hasn't reached that part.

After almost 6 years the Boruto anime came to an end today. I can't really say I will miss it since I stopped watching it when that Mist Village filler started and only picked it back up recently. The show had its moments but there were very few of them. Counting only the canon content, I guess it was okay... Obviously doesn't hold a candle to its parent series.
