It's a typical shounen plot about this guy who gets magic powers and meets some girls with magic powers and has to fight them for some (as yet) unexplained reason. A person who has magic powers is called a Kampfer.
Oh, he has to turn into a girl to use his magic powers.
It's pretty fun though.

Would be cool to have a anime of this but do we have any confirmation this is not just manga-publicity?

edit qmeister: to be acurate, a Kampfer will change when fighting and is bestowed with umm weapon, I would say.

It's got a staff and studio announced, it's going to have something for it at Anime Festa 2009...the proof is all laid out.

I remember reading the first chapters of the manga. they were ok, I guess... I'm not really sure of what to expect from this anime adaptation. The story is the kind I usually try to avoid, but there's something very interesting going on among the characters and the ensuing comedy created as result of the genderbending. Something to look forward to, I guess...

He doesn't really seem like Alto at all? I don't think they look all that much alike either.

He has more girls to choose from than Alto.

I'm anticipating a fair bit of comedy in this.

The quality of the animation will definitely matter. One of the big selling points of the manga is that it's got pretty amazing artwork of really pretty girls, and particularly alot of peculiar facial expressions

... anyway, if can stay even near the manga level, this will become highly entertaining.

(Got my 2 tankoubons in the mail today and can't wait for the third one to come out)
