Kind of getting a bit worrisome for the Underworld. Even more so for the other Mythologies. If defeats keep piling up, its going to be sooner or later some of the other Mythologies would see the Three Great Powers as a liability than a real fighting force and send their own forces in.

and my guess is, maybe in xenovia arc, they will lose something again
and in the end of arc, there will be super comeback to defeat rizevim for good or something like that maybe

Azazel even mentioned that there's already a faction that wants to use their forces to deal with Rizevim.

Wouldn't surprise me in the aftermath after the Battle of 666 is done, the Hindu Mythology will use this as an excuse to start a fight. As well others too.

The purpose of the DXD coalition is to stop 666 from being awaken. Which we know its going to happen. Even if DXD eliminates 666, the failure to prevent the awakening will cause a major rift and distrust between the major Mythologies.

That's what I thought too when I read that part in Volume 16.

The faction in question is the Hindu mythology and that would be used to introduce that myth and start the "Destruction God Shiva" arc.

Its going to be a long arc that one, will be the first time Issei and the Gremory group will face an entire Mythology, not just one or two figures from one. Sooner or later someone is going to break it to Ise that he will never have any leisure time again.

I wouldn't even be surprised if the FA in question in the spoiler is Azazel.

That novel (no working title released yet) shares the same world as DxD. So, that novel is also a new source of info for DxD.

Hmm, if Rizevim had a powerful-enough swordsman, stealing Excalibur Ruler to try and control Trihexa would make sense. But I doubt anyone could even have a shot at controlling a being the level of Great Red...
