Latest Dragon Magazine announced that the series will have a new chapter published in each new Dragon Magazine starting spring 2024 until its ending (and then will have a bunko release, I guess)

I'm sorry, I don't read the series, so I can't answer. It doesn't have illustrations, though. The Dragon Magazine only has the text and illustrations are added when it's published as a book.

For those interested, the final volume is still being published every few months,

It (seems) to be 1 chapter every issue of dragon magazine with the 4th chapter being released in January (no clue how many total but doesn't seem like Jan will be the end)

Ive also seen some art slowly being released on twitter tho trying to avoid it
