末那 does have a meaning, but 未那 (the kanji used in her name) does not, since it's a fiction name. (The kanji 末 and the kanji 未 are different)

ＰＳ：未 is also used in 未来 (future).

She wants Mikiya, not SHIKI. She's the same as Azaka.

Unless Nasu writes more, yeah. But he's (supposedly) busy with Mahoutsukai no Yoru and Tsukihime, so it's probably the end for at least 10 years... assuming he doesn't randomly stop those to write more Shiki.

Yes and no. They were originally a demon hunting clan, along with the Asagami, Fujou, and Nanaya families.

When they were no longer needed, each family went their separate ways. The Fujou family is officially extinct after Kirie's suicide. The Asagami family is mostly defunct as well, with Fujino's father intentionally dulling her sense of pain to disable her powers so that they wouldn't cause her any trouble.

The Ryougi family became a yakuza clan.

Mikiya was employed by Touko during the main series. When she left, there's no evidence on what Mikiya has been up to since he never makes an appearance in the 10 years later segment with Mana.

For what it's worth, I don't think Mana is really "in love" with Mikiya. I think that's just admiration. I don't think it's a coincidence the movie introduces the difference between that and actual love right before Mana's segment.

Actually, I think Mana could have feelings for Mitsuru. At the very least they have a lot of chemistry, and not the family-like, if you know what I mean.



On an unrelated know, I wonder how the hell Mana knew the Shiki that Mother Mifune first met was the male one...
