"Kaze no Stigma" is really really really good, one of the best romance and fantasy-ish magic fighting anime I've ever seen. It's really cool how the characters manipulate all sorts of elements, such as fire, wind, and earth, (I think there are more though). A girl named Ayano meets her ex-relitave after 4 years, Kazuma. In the begining it's all cool magic fighting and slowly they annoyingly start to fall in-love,(Annoying because Ayano becomes angry after he does something lovely). So if you like magic weilding actiony fantasy romance, then Kaze no Stigma is the anime for you!

Some of the anime i may recommend are RomeoxJuliet Skip Beat Special A
Tsubasa Chronicle. Although skip beat special a and romeoxjuliet dont have much magic they are still great.... and one last one Maburaho which is about magic...basically a harem 1 guy, 3 girls.

Well you could try Vampire Knights. It was pretty good. It has two seasons. But Vampire Knight has some parts that may be inappropriate for younger ages. It was a pretty intense anime, which I love! It has action, romance, etc..

I don't think so. Mahoromatic is my favourite anime, but I hated the ending to season 2. but when I watched it a second time I appreciated it.

Zero no Tsukaima - is really good, a romance,magic,supernatural,and hardly any ecchi, aso it has 4 seasons: Zero no Tsukaima,Zero No Tsukaima 2nd Season, Zero No Tsukama Princess no Rondo and Zero No Tsukaima Final. Its about Saito Hiraga who was summoned as a familiar to a new world. he was summoned by louise, the legendary void mage, and becomes gandalfr (when he touches a weapon meant for war then he instantly knows how to use it). They soon take on lots of challenging balls and well season 4 is still ongoing every monday so i dunno

Wow, I obviously worked hard on my post here. Too bad a whole year went by before esmon revived this thread, and too bad we never heard back from firealicegirl. I'd be curious to know if she ever watched any of the shows I recommended!

i suggest sword art online. It does not include magic but it is fantasy. It first takes place in 2022 and a new game has come out. The main character kiragaya was one of the beta testers for the game and only 10 000 people have the game. Once all these people have entered it is shown that since the beta test, the bosses have changed a lot and there is no log out button. everyone that entered the game is stuck unless they beat the 100th floor. I really suggest it because there is not a lot of ecchi and there is plenty of romance starting around episode 5ish.
