normally when i use tmpgenc the border is already set.
after i reformat my comp and dl tmpgenc xpress again i got no border when i convert the movie file.

anyone know where i go to so i can add border? and what it should be?

I have a similar question, so instead of starting a new thread, I'll just reply here. I'm using TMPGENC and I have tried every variation of 16:9 and 4:3 in the "video" tab against 660,440 and 660,330 clip in the "advanced" tab. As a result, I get very similar looking, yet slightly different MPGs which, when loaded into the authoring software, produce the following:

I can't figure out which one has the exact appearence of the original avi (640x360). Sure they all look like it, but they all can't be right! Thanks in advance for helping.
