It's actually been up at Moonphase for a while, but I guess no one has posted it here yet:

Official site UP~
http://www.ntv.co.jp/neuro/ Unfortunately no new news (but a shiny new picture! A good sign that the anime will be just as twisted as the manga ) |

Looks like there's finally a more specific broadcast date:
October 2, 2007 Less than a month away..! No fansub group has decided to sub it yet, unfortunately. (if only we could borrow a few of the million groups that are going to sub CLANNAD... must fight urge to rant about my hate toward KyoAni ) |

From what I heard of Nightmare's music (from Death Note), I don't really like them at all. But hopefully they'll pull of something decent.
But I agree that there's no way they can beat the fan-made OP. The song selection and video were just too perfect for Neuro. I'm still in shock that a fan can make a fake anime OP in FLASH that's better and more memorable than 95% of REAL anime OPs... |

I'm not much for Nightmare's slower songs, but some of their faster ones sound pretty neat. I especially like Hate and Tokyo Shounen.

Interesting, looks okay still-wise thus far, though I'd hope they'd go for a crazier color palette. Well, it hasn't shown any of Neuro's cases of crazy visual allusions. I hope they can capture that well.
Can't wait. :3
