Thumbs up Spring anime 2013?

So is there anything worth checking out this spring?
i dislike magical girl, harem and echi genres.

Im already reading the shingeki no kiojin manga and watched the first episode of Devil Survivor 2 so far.
thanks

Is there anything you'd like to see in particular?

We're pretty early in this season so it's kinda hard to for me to say but I'd say you can check out if Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince, and Suisei no Gargantia are your cup of tea.

For ongoing series, HunterxHunter(2011) is a must.

EDIT: nvm your Anime list says you're already into it.

Other than continuations, this season looks largely a bust for me. I'm watching the sequel to Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san, and intend to take a look at Flowers of Evil and Gargantia. From its title, I thought Attack on Titan would be a show about space battles. What a disappointment when I saw that it's another faux-medieval shounen saga! There seems to be a nearly complete absence of shows with adult protagonists this season.

Given my tastes, which I think are somewhat similar to yours, this looks to be the worst season in a couple of years. It does give me ample time to watch and savor the now complete Hyouge Mono, which is where I'm investing my anime viewing time at the moment.

Seconding Crime Edge, Majestic Prince, Gargantia as well. I also recommend watching Flowers of Evil even though the artstyle is probably a turn-off (including me who disliked it already from the first minute when I first watched it). Other spring candidates include Valvrave the Liberator (which will premiere for tomorrow) and RDG : Red Data Girl if you like semi-romantic "boy meets girl" stories without harem elements.

Devil Survivor 2 (Persona 4! Link Start!)
Hataraku Maou-sama (Golden for me)
Kakumeiki Valvrave (Still need to give it a shot)
Shingeki no Kyojin (I love my medieval stuff)
Suisei no Gargantia (Yes, just yes)
Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince (It's so fabulous with space CG and music)
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge (May have a fetish thing going on)

Is clearly all I got so far from this season. Everything else I've watched (all the animes subbed) involve one of those listed categories you don't like.

You have already read Shingeki no Kiojin. For anime, Production I.G has its name on it. So animations will be quite good. First episode is engaging.

Arata Kangatari , viewers are interesting in this anime because of the Yuu Watase, well known mangaka(I only knew about her after watching the first episode of Arata)

Suisei no Gargantia, watched the first episode opening. There are a lot of things for me to comprehend. How the alien attack the galaxy and such. It's a lot to take in and I'm not good at it. But the script is written by Gen UROBUCHI , who write script for Psycho-Pass so I will wait for the whole series to finish and watch it in one shot.

Zettai Bōei Leviathan , magical girl anime. Last season Vivid Red Operation did a good job on the genre but this one is not. It's more like a RPG game to me. Girl 1 goes place 1 and meet with somone, talk , use power then meet another one and such. Minimal background music make the anime dry too.

Hataraku Maou-sama, I couldn't stop myself laughing out loud and smiling watching the first episode. Satan working part-time in McDonal and tried to fried the pototo fries with his remaining magic is really a comedy.

For me the best shows this season are:
Suisei no Gargantia
Shingeki no Kiojin
Red Data Girl

In that order.

I'm going to watch Yamato (one of the great classics) and Railgun (Sister's Arc = one of the best arcs in the series so far).

Red Date Girl and Hataraku Maou-sama look interesting so I'll give them a few more epsiodes before deciding.

I'll see if I can stand Hayate. Hina is still off model.
