Good God! Reminds you much, eh? Predictable at first, and then something really unexpected!

Now this episode truly balanced out the emptiness and confusion I had experienced with the final episode of Nise a day ago. Wow!

Probably the most entertaining and hard-hitting episode this far. <3

One person can have more of an impact than an entire city. We only know a portion of the entire city, but we're intimately familiar with Yoko. Thus, her injury arguably has more dramatic potential.

That's a moot point because if they managed to vaporize the whole city, Yoko would have burned to cinders as well.

My problem is this;

How did that laser that would have vaporized the town even get there?
They hit the base with pretty damn good accuracy in the initial barrage, but somehow scatter into town with the second attack, and only a single beam at that?

So either KISS suddenly got a lot worse at aiming, or they purposefully attacked the town for some unknown reason. My best guess would be to provoke Madoka to trigger her flower power again.

I thought they attacked the town deliberately on the second run, considering how spot on their attacks were the first time it seems silly to assume otherwise.

Probably.

After all, the whole battle was going "just as Villagiulio predicted", so he most likely planned it all right down it.

Well, this looks all kinds of not reassuring. That glimpse of Madoka alone on the beach does not convince me that this first half of the series is going to end well.

Hopefully Rinne Madoka does not end up like Shinji.
