Shounen(boy's) light novel and manga.

This thread is for the discussion of both Mushi-Uta light novel series and manga.

Mushi-Uta is a light novel series thats published under the shounen light novel label Sneaker Bunko. A short story light novel titled Mushi-Uta bug is serialized in the male oriented light novel magazine The Sneaker.
The main story light novel has 9 volumes released so far, and there are 5 volumes short stories released so far.

Wow, volume 10 of the shounen light novel series Mushi-Uta will be released on April 1st, 2010

volume 9 of the light novel series was released in July 2007, so its been a while...

According to wikipedia there is 19 realeases of the novel?!!
Can anyone who has read tell us how good the story has gotten so far?
So far no one is translating it....sad.....

So since the translation has been taken, I keep wondering, is there any romance is this LN? Yea can't read something without this, subplot or main whatever.

Yes there is romance! I'm actually reading this in chinese as its avaliable in chinese. It's pretty good. But after Vol 2 or so they started to drift away from the all awesome main character lol, still good though.

I can try scan vol 1-4 and mushi uta bug if need be, though its in chinese.

If my memory hasn't failed me... Yes there's romance.

Actually, my Impression of Kakkou/Daisuke (that's his name right? God it's been years...) Is that he's a darker version of Kirito (even though at that time of the Anime I didn't know about SAO).

Storywise he's just as leet in combat with remarkable harem powers... though the girls tend to drop like flies as well...

The dead should stay dead imo. I'm so annoyed at her role even after her dead. I find Mushibane to be ignorant fanatics in general.

Also, why are there always different cover girls each volume? Daisuke's harem?

But she still comes up in every volumes after that. The Mushibane treats her like some god, when she was doing the easy job. Daisuke and Haji who try to do good on the other hands...

We have law enforcement who doesn't give a crap.

We have terrorist group who goes after the above mentioned organisation for self protection and hatred.

Then we have the good guys who are clearly victims and can't do much of their job in saving the world due to the two retard groups mentioned above. They have to keep their reason for doing what they do a secret too, since the outcome won't be pretty...

I just can't stand Mushibane.

Someone took over the translation of the novel on Bakatsuki.
Today, 6 volumes of the main serie and 2 of Mushi Uta Bug are translated.
