First episode and the male lead is already working steadily toward a "nice boat" ending, I see. Although one can always hope that episode 2 will start with the rest of the family confronting him about his behavior. Probably not though. At least it seems someone has seen through his "nice guy" facade, so that is a start.

I see that anime is continuing the trend of parents springing surprise remarriages on their kids with little warning. I'm starting to wonder if this is a cultural thing.

It's enough for me to be hyped knowing that I'll get the Kuzu no Honkai of 2019. Will prob check out the manga after if the anime butchers it, but the 1st ep shows promise. I also enjoyed reading another one of the author's works, GE: Good ending, with the main issue there being that it just went on & on in circles for a while for the sake of prolonging itself. But then again, that happens all the time whenever something gets somewhat popular so kinda used to it. This seems to have 212 chapters out atm so I'm just gonna expect something similar,prolly read the manga after and take the good with the bad - I welcome it overall at any rate, need my dose of spice in romance anime too

Decent OP & ED, although two those other girls besides the two sisters running around in the OP are prolly gonna annoying though, they usually are, but hopefully wont take much screen time if so...

Knowing this is from Good Ending's author I expect more drama than humor but we'll see... I got some "main heroine" vibes from Rui but I don't really know what to expect.

Do we know how old is Hina?
