I just got done watching a mediocre naruto music vid, but it did have a good moment.

The Haku vs Naruto fight, when Naruto goes nuts with Kyubi's power, and totally drills him through the glass and outside, that has to be one of the best scenes in the anime so far. Perfect animation. It actually fit nicely with Guns N Roses "knocking on heavens door", the music for the vid I saw. Its on amv.org if you want to see it.

I wish Naruto punching Neji from under the ground was as cool as him knocking Haku through the ice or whatever, but it was still good anyway.

So, as far as anime alone, what's been the best scene so far that comes the closest, or does actually give you chills when you see it?

hmm, that was a good scene. my other favorites so far have been:

the first time you see lee use the renge (against the sound ninjas while sasuke's unconcious)

when sasuke wakes up after that and starts kicking ass

the end of the second lee/gaara episode, when lee opens the gates and gets that aura thing going (although the rest of that fight kind of disappointed me :| )

recently, I liked the scene with naruto finally summoning gamabunta while he's falling ^_^

and..

A favorite fight scene which i think was done nicely was Sasuke against Oro during the 2nd exam.

Seen where naruto turns on the kyuubi for the first time was awsome and coolest so far, but i cant rule out the lee fight or the zabuza/kakashi fight either.

I liked the part when Sasuke was taken over by Oro's cursed seal, Hayate vs Sand Dude, Gaara vs Sound Guy, and Lee vs Sasuke was pretty cool when it first came out if you didn't already know any of the story.

That's a whole fight, not a scene. In fact thats a couple episodes, by scene, I meant somewhere along 10-20 seconds.

mmmmm the scene I like the best is when kakashi fought sabuza in the water and he was copying all of his movements with the sharingan. And then they started saying the spell for a jutsu remenber? monkey, goat, rabit, tiger, dragon, horse, michael jackson, bush... That has to be one of the best parts : )

Yeah that was pretty cool, also with the subtitles from TW that scrolled like something you would see on cnn.

My favourite scene was when Lee took off the wheights and Gaara got all "WTF?!".
Talking about battles, i must have seen Sasuke vs Oro about 50 times (ep 30) and Lee vs Gaara (ep 48). Anyway, i didn't like naruto punching Neji that much, more or less animation..

Btw, i'm a noob in these foruns (hi

) can someone tell me what does that sasuke with a sign over it sig. means? I ... don't.. get it!

episode 1

"don't touch Iruka, I'll kill you"

his whole position, tone of voice, everything was perfect in that scene, I think it and the first time naruto lets the kyuubi out are the best scenes yet.

sasuke vs orochimaru, when sasuke is hitting orochimaru and flipping around like a monkey

and when they are training.. the kakashi vs sasuke part

the part right after naruto throws the knife at zabuza and he (zabuza) whirls the shuiken... to be stopped by kakashi...

and when naruko appears

a surprisingly cool fight: sasuke vs. kakashi during kakashi's test (notably when sasuke tried to get the bells after he had attempted to kick kakashi twice, him blocking both attacks)

gaara vs. lee

kakashi vs. zabuza

naruto vs. oro

sasuke vs. lee (simply because lee's moves were so refreshing and cool looking)

whenever anyone uses a scroll!!

almost any flashback, seriously flash backs are some of my favorite parts of an anime. (especially if they have great music that goes along with the mood of the scene.)

I'm gonna have to say the scene where Lee opens up the gates & you see his veins start to pop & his hair rise. great animation. and then the fighting that takes place while he's still in that mode.

Lee using Extreme Lotus kicked ass.
64 hands kicked ass too...
Oro vs. Sasuke... all of it.

But the coolest scene, IMO, is not a battle scene. My favorite scene was when Oro reveals himself to Anko. When that indian-like song plays in the background, representing all his mysthical and his villainess. When he said to Sasuke "... my name is Orochimaru" kicked ass too. Gotta love MJ, he's such a cold and cool villain

I have to agree...the whole Orochimaru debut arc (like eps 28-31) had some of my favorite scenes in the series by far.

Oro vs Sasuke = Best fight so far.

"How can I beat my brother if I'm not willing to die here?"

Oro vs Anko = Kick ASS.

"He must be special"

"Yes...Unlike you, this one has talent"

Sasuke absolutely freaking out when Oro is attacking him and Sakura for the first time. It was so surprising to see cold and cool Sasuke actually screaming for his life.

And when Naruto makes fun of Sasuke by using the same line Sasuke used when he first Saved Naruto, I cheered. That was just so freaking cool.

"Are you ok, you big scaredy-cat?"
