I'm wondering... How many episodes was announced for this season again? Cause I'm new to this series.

No spoilers obviously... but is it feasible to do Hana + Tsukimonogatari for that season and than do the final 3 novels as another 1 cour production?

Hana is looking to be a 1-cour series. Is shaft serious?

It might just be a miniseries or a continuous broadcasting like NekoBlack. It would fall under "TV anime". That's pretty much what is expected by this point.
Alternatively they could lump it with Kizu or Tsuki or even Koyomi if they feel particularly random.

It's not that Bake didn't have any competition. In truth, it wasn't considered as a competitive series in the first place. At that time, there were more hyped show like Haruhi 2009, Umineko and Canaan. No one expects that Bakemonogatari would come out on top and had a huge success.

I would also tend to agree with this speculation. "TV Anime" doesn't necessarily mean "1-cour TV Series", and even if it did, it wouldn't mean this arc will take the whole time. (They could always air the recaps again, if they want -- who knows.)

Monogatari series' recaps are reserved to be 5.5. Since that already happened, up to one more could be done, since Bake and Nise were half-seasons, while SS is a full-season.

No, it's quite likely that there will be at least 4 recap episodes airing as part of this TV broadcast (one between each arc). I'm suggesting that, if they really wanted to, they could take those same episodes (and create some new ones for the new content) and air them on TV again to fill time in a one-cour show centered around the new arc. But who knows. I think it's more likely it'll just be a TV special as already speculated.

My suspicion is that the second volume will feature the second half of this illustration, and she'll be sitting on the other half of the bench. (The Aniplex+ store is selling a special bonus box that has both illustrations on the cover, so that's why I think it's designed to be connected.)

Another recap? What's going on here? They dropped one novel from broadcast to add recaps? Anyway, I hope they will do a good job with Nadeko, all the doujinshi I have read this far based on this novel have raised my expectation very high.
