They don't get love because there aren't any HAWT BOOBIES. --;; That and some people are turned off at the slightly more cartoonish feel that Tezuka works usually have. They are just cowards, is all.

Same reason most people are clueless to Doraemon, Sazae-san, Crayon Shin-chan, et. al.

There hasn't been a single episode without Acchomburike so far. I didn't translate it as "ohmigewdness" in BJ21 ep 1, but it's there. Hell's version has something that resembles "ohmigewdness" better in their translation in that episode. (It just didn't fit in my style of translation, and I really didn't force it in.)

I don't remember where it was in ep 2, but... I'm sure it's there.

Right, the accheon briquet was in episode 1 of Black Jack 21, when she is telling BJ how surprised she was that he wound up in jail. Listen carefully and you will hear it. =3

I will need to go back in episode two and listen...

The later episodes are getting really interesting. Good thing is BJ 21 goes in a continous story line.

is this show worth watching? frothbite is translating it so i was real interested. but i dont like shows like the sora wings they are also doing. i do like parodies, some seriousness is ok. this isnt like angel heart or something is it? i dont like the serious stuff.

He also makes guest appearance in Ray the Animation.

I've noticed anime suki has Black Jack, Black Jack 21, and the Black Jack special available for download. I've read some Black Jack summaries, and am interested in downloading them. Is there a special order the series go in?

I didn't want to download one if you were supposed to see the others first...

All Black Jack episodes are very independent of each other. Even within the same series, most of the times, it doesn't matter in what order you watch. (Black Jack 21 is serialized, so for that one, you should watch it in order.)

The same goes for the movie that Froth-Bite released today. Watch it any time you want.

Thank you [Froth-Bite] for fansubbing the movie, Black Jack: The Two Doctors of Darkness. Enjoyed the movie. The encode from DVD looks great.

There's one still in the ending credits that I would love to remove all credits and make it as a wallpaper - the one with Black Jack leaning against the door beam of the ship, looking out at the sunset and reflecting sadly.
