From what I've seen I understood it to be Quant trying to get Bam to save Rachel because he's trying to continue/finish the game by getting to Endorsi who was at the top, but then decided to stick around anyway just to see what happens after he taught Bam that technique. Never knew there's was a reason why he can't do it himself.

I always thought it was a hairline and only noticed it was a horn when someone else pointed it out to me.

Oh wow, I never noticed that tiny little horn until you guys pointed it out.

This was "Betrayal, the episode" So many in one short episode. Apparently the best way to help friends is to backstab strangers. Great morals in this tower. lol

Probably someone told her the path to a better standard of living was to eliminate the competition and prob gave her a suggestion. Her better treated "sisters" were prob setup to develop Endorsi into the princess she is today.

Those girls had to be sedated then murdered.

I see no reason to believe she didn't figure it out on her own.

I don't think she killed all her sisters in one go or anything.

From what I understood of the princesses of Jahad they were the representatives of their respective race, so for Endorsi they probably rounded up all the girls with potential and the last one remaining after the battle royale would be sent to become the princess.

What happened would be she climbed up the ranks and defeated all her "sisters" to be the last one remaining, not necessarily in an instant though, and not while they were eating.

The source material might've already addressed this though so I could be wrong.

It had to be more than physical prowess. Those girls were older than her and they had a nutritional advantage.

So do you guys think the silent spear thrower took part of the injury for Rachel? He arched his back approx the same time she got knifed.

I figured that with Bam talking to the Administrator, or if he even takes the Administrator exam himself, the rules of the tests and the tests itself can be changed. They mentioned in the episode that the quickest way up the tower now is to follow and support Bam.

Also, why do we keep getting reminders of the first princess Bam met? She shows up for about 10 seconds trying to catch up to Bam, and then that's it for a few episodes. Also, what is taking her so long? She and Bam started about the same time.

This was a nice team bonding chapter, they all feel like a real team to take the test with bam.

That princess didn't take the exam, so I assume she's taking the tower's version of the stairs while the examinees are being teleported around to different parts of the tower by the examiners.

Not only that, it's been a few episodes since we last saw anyone mention both the black march and green april, which presumably is with anaaak right now, but suddenly they reveal those swords were being hunted down by what I think is this world's version of the police? And they're trying to kill one of the examinees too, and the test administrator is in on that plan? Too many things suddenly popping out!

Also this episode had very jarring transitions, kinda like how different scenes were noticeably stitched together, or maybe it was just me.

A few corrections. The examinees haven't been teleported anywhere, they have been on the same floor this whole time. The only times that the show hasn't been on the 2nd floor was at the very beginning when Bam was taking the test with Headon, and all the flashback scenes (Serena's are in the outer tower as were Khun and Hoh's, while Bam's were in a cave outside the tower.)
Princess Yuri is trying to find a roundabout way of getting from the first floor to the 2nd floor without interrupting the test, which is forbidden. I think it's like taking the back alleys to get somewhere rather than the main paths.

As for the hidden guy in the "teacher", Ren, I don't think he's the police. He's more like an assassin. He's here for retrieval and elimination of things the king wants to be rid of.

Spoiler for SIU's blog:

The Inner Tower is probably smaller, but that still leaves plenty of room.

Then it kinda makes sense that Yuri hasn't reached the floor above, but even if she's taking the longer route to avoid the others climbing the tower, given how big the inner tower is I guess it's impossible for them to bump into each other by chance.

I'd just blame it all on the navigator since it always looks like he doesn't know where to go.

Yuri's navigator is extremely good so don't be like Yuri blaming it on him lol. Most probably any other group than them would have taken waaaay longer to climb that way.
