Well, unlike the days of the "steel pots" the entire US military is volunteer. In some ways they are suppose to be elite, though in todays terms it seems more of "specialists" than warriors.
The long past days when we still had people drafted into service. (I think the last man drafted into the military retired not too long ago).

Is there any way to get the toy thread unlock? The toy line is still very active. Are there other active FMP forum?
And I will just leave it here since it is kind of novel related: http://figsoku.blog39.fc2.com/blog-entry-1808.html |

Seems like the already different color of the writing is coming now. Just how often was comedy this integrated to the main story in the original FMP? Loving this.
Also, wow, an Arabian prince who is very competent. I like. |

OH SHI-
I mean, thanks, HunterSeeker! This is great! You are, as always, the saviour of mankind and me personally with those spoilers! I can bet this Arabic prince has a thing for a Russan blonde. They always do... *Ivan rage* I wonder, will they explain further what happened in the Arabic world after the events of the FMP timeline with the nuclear conflict and all. |

Might as well post here, since this the only active FMP thread. What happened to the anime? I thought Kyo-Ani was waiting for the novels to be completed so they could the final season in style. What happened? Last thing I remembered this series was insanely popular. Isn't there enough interest or something?

Started re-watching FMP on Netflix out of sheer nostalgia, then remembered that there's still a very large amount of material that still isn't covered. Really just wondering if anyone knows if any company has picked up the license for the novels after Tokyopop folded.
I'm quite sure that there are a few people that may be sick of answering this question, but the past 2 days of sifting through Google have brought me here, where you guys seem to be the absolute best informed. Thanks for any help. =D |

In short, revolvers are often dismissed among army-use AS due to less ammo capacity and short range, but its uase of use and maintanence are still their merits, and are pretty popular among other AS especially peacekeeping onces, due to its firepower are more than enough for their purposes. And there're quite a lot of small to middle-scale companies are developing AS revolvers.

Thank you, HunterSeeker, for everything!! I was only able to catch the live stream for about 5 minutes, glad you were able to share the news on it~ Thank you! And for the news on Another v3, and the images, again, thank you! <3~ Much appreciated!
As for the Another manga, it's pretty good. Sometimes the artist uses some rather over-the-top expressions that feel out of place, and minimal backgrounds. Don't realize just how much even moderately detailed backgrounds add to a manga until you stare at all that empty space. As I read it, I was trying to figure out what was missing from it, why it didn't feel quite right, then I realized the backgrounds are nearly non-existent. Character designs are great, though. Taichi You's Lina is simply adorable! I'll definitely work on collecting the manga as I can, but I won't be too sad if I miss out on it.
