After seeing the preview...

- It seems like a combination of romance, comedy, and sci-fi. The last element was a bit unexpected but it could provide a new dimension to the show.

- Jun'ichi likes Minato? It would explain a lot - from his arranged marriage (his parents are understandably against incest), Jun'ichi's and Yuuhi's mutual hatred, and enmity between Minato and Yuuhi. The preview made it seem like they were just a bit too close...

- Will we have a catfight between Yuuhi and Minato? Not expecting anything serious like Nemu and Sakura on the rooftop in D.C. ~ Da Capo, but comic battles, a la Ayumi vs. Maika in Magikano, would be amusing to see.

I may be way off but it's always fun to speculate.

P.S. Advice for Jun'ichi: if Yuuhi ever gets angry or violent, don't fight back; just give her a hug and a kiss...

I've been dying for some decent drama, so your speculations sound pretty good... at least to me. A decent catfight is probably exactly what I've been hanging out for. And even though it's fictional, the incest thing always makes me a little uncomfortable.

As a sister. Junichi loves Minato very much indeed, but as a sister. Minato's side might be another story though. It has been suggested (but not laid in stone) in magazine articles that Minato will play a large role in Junichi's relationship with Yuuhi. That's not a "for sure," but that's what it looks like from the magazines.

I'll just say that I doubt it. The magazines indicate that they're on good terms with each other. That doesn't mean they might be at odds later in the series, but I don't expect to see anything of the likes of Ryoko vs. Ayeka, lol.

I'd bet pretty good money on it being 12 episodes, with a possible 13th on the DVDs (or possibly all 13 on TV). Simply because of the staff involved (this director has never directed a show longer than 13 episodes from what I can tell), the fact it's an anime-original comedy (not worth the risk to producers), and the sort of publicity it's been getting. Also, the game was popular, but not that popular -- it's mostly riding on voice actor recognition, I think. I say that in spite of the fact that I would have liked 24-26 episodes, but I just don't think it's that sort of show.

I'd have to agree with relentlessflame. As much as I'd love this to go 24-26 episodes, this kind of show just isn't that type. We've never gotten a show like this in more than 12-14 episodes regardless of popularity, so it's not likely we'll get more here.

Only way this show goes 24-26 episodes is if Jun'ichi and Yuuhi get married in the middle.

Wouldn't count on it.

Also hoping Minato and Jun'ichi ARE blood-related and there is no incest. But I might be fighting an uphill battle there, as well...

Still looks like a decent comedy and I'll be jumping in for at least a couple of episodes.
