Even Ichigo is missing from the recent chapters.

It's about damn time that kisuke figured out a way to fix the Bankai issue. And Mayuri is jealous as always trying to hang up on him and Kisuke knowing exactly what he would do prepares to pop right out of no where just in case! He's always such a funny character.

It is simples its for a big dramatic enterence that could be used to save Ichigo where we find out that Grimmjow has become part Shinigami as well.

Didn't Mayuri say he'd captured and studied enough Quincies that he thought he knew everything about them? Wouldn't "allergic to hollows" come quite a way up the list of things to know about them (especially as their powers are based around killing them)? How bad a scientist does he have to be to have missed that?

I don't think it's so much that he's a bad scientist as much as there are better ones, like Urahara and the chick from Squad Zero that hacked Mayuri's place like it was as simple as taking a breath.

Keep in mind his ego caused him to lose to Ishida.

As bad as a scientist who takes nearly twenty years to realize that Hollows are poison to Quincys...after saving a Quincy who was poisoned by a Hollow...

I'm a little sad about Matsu though; she really looks dead. Since Urahara's in SS with Mayuri, I"m guessing Inoue and Chad aren't too far behind. Though I seriously wish Kubo would keep both of their asses out of this.

i'm just eager to get past the crappy character fights. when it comes time for zero squad, kisuke, yoruichi, aizen, shunsui, etc... to fight, it's gonna get intense

I was thinking that, too, but the way Bach was talking up Uryuu to the other Quincy, it certainly seemed like he was the last one left on Earth... Maybe Ryuuken is up to something.

Funny you should make the Potter reference, considering Uryuu has basically been touted as "The Boy Who Lived"... ^_^
