Hilda and Aoi have too much build up for it not to happen

Not really. I mean sure it looks like development is gonna happen within the next few chapters, though nothing in the relationship department.

I'm just saying it's a decent sign that Oga is increasingly concern for Aoi, which is almost OOC for him.

Nope, just calling it how i see it. Oga was his typical self in this chapter.

Actually he does at times, but he doesn't flaunt it openly. Mikki is a perfect example...

I do see Aoi's chances rising, too. But it's not that romance would play any role in Oga's thoughts anytime soon

This manga isn't about romance anyway.. actually I don't know what this manga is about, but I know I love it!

The biggest problem with human side-characters being relevant in future arcs, was 'how would they beat teh demons?'

The new Gash Bell-ish plot development is surely going to give Ah-Oi! and several others a lot of room to flex demon contractor muscles. And well... romantically, I highly doubt it'll go anywhere far beyond Furuichi's imaginations, but characters not getting side-lined as the power creep goes up is a good indicator for 'romantic-ish moments.'

A little late on commenting on chapter 84 but better late than never!

1st off is, NOOOOOOOOOOOO Hilda-onee-sama!!!

I'm really liking the turn of events, it's gotten more serious but still you it's got that fun Beelzebub feel to it.

Should provide plenty of awesome Oga bad ass moments

Which leads me on to chapter 85, I took a little peek at the raws and

I seriously can't wait for the anime, I'll say it now but it will by default be my favorite anime of the winter season, even if it ends up being rather meh.
But I have faith we'll something great from it

Oga is pissed and that always leads to some ass kicking I like when Aoi-chan wakes up while being held by Oga, she's just <3 Got 2 more dragon dudes show up and interupting Toujou and Izuma's fight, with Izuma getting owned. But then Toujou just owns the draon dude, awesome! I seriously can't wait for the anime, I'll say it now but it will by default be my favorite anime of the winter season, even if it ends up being rather meh. But I have faith we'll something great from it __________________
