nope, this was before I started using pure gold on all of my tanks, i switch back a couple of my tanks to regular like the matilda and churchill 7.

and no i don't spam gold rounds.

I spam gold because I want to maximize my damage output more than anything, E-75 and E-100 can hide their lower plate all they want I will just put my HEAT shell right through their upper front plate and turret face.

Yargh. Had a Lakeville game where I had to Hetz a Hetzer, 38nA, and an M5 Stuart off our cap, while our team had at least couple of tanks worth of advantage on the enemy cap... until someone TKed (and turned blue).

As a result I had to drive all the way to the other side of the map to kill the final tank.

I got a Top Gun out of it, but it really wasn't worth the stress.

Blaaah, last night to eke out some kind of score from the B1 for the Heavy Marathon, but it looks like I'm going to just hope for placing in the top 50. REALLY hard to get anything more than what I already got, unless I get a tier 5 game where all the tier 5s oblige me by going retard and letting me kill them all.

yeah i love the feeling where i can just pen the turret of those tanks when i have over 300 pen, it feel great, but they will prolly accuse me of being a gold whore newb, meh, idk as long as their dead, they can whine all they want... it won't change the fact that they died.

the only thing I hate more than gold users are when you get tracked and you get raped. and no one comes to the rescue. also love the fact i can shoot the T95 without worrying about not being able to pen.

its funny while they let you pen their turret and they don't move. see kimi knows how i feel... to an extent. de-geso

One of my favorite vehicles in the game. The gun has mediocre alpha but a great rate of fire, and it can pen tier 7 heavies with little effort. Don't expect it to do well in a brawl with equal-tiered enemies, though. It works best when unseen and untargeted.

I expect a lot of competition with the StuG, since it's the most popular tier 5 TD. I think I'll focus more on the S35 CA and maybe try out an underpowered, rarely-used TD like the Somua SAu 40 or ARL V39. My British TDs might be good for that too.

By the way, what timeframe is used to determine the top XP earners? Is it a day or a week before the top scores "reset"?

Given the massively abusable view range on the T49, why wouldn't it? Heck, in the hands of really skilled players, it's a damage-point harvesting machine. ^^;

As how these things usually go, I got an ace tanker game in the Alecto 2 days before the event starts. Oh well. It was only a 900+ xp game anyway. Probably gonna need 1000+ to win at least.

Not quite, this event is for ALL tiers. In low tiers (2-3) I think it will be 800 xp the minimun.

In tier 4-5 the lowest to get in the spots I think will be 1000-1200 xp. If you make more than that, then fine.

Also in a non related note, WG are morons to deactivate the tracers in unspotted tanks. It really helped a lot wo track invisitanks back in the day.

I can foresee a whole lot of pain now with the month-long TD event, ESPECIALLY at high tiers. As if the T110E4s weren't bad enough, the objects too...
