Ugh, I would not want that. XD

I know this is late in commenting on the first episode, but I've watched Strawberry Panic, and TBH, it sort of bored me at times, although still good.

This seems slightly more realistic in some ways. (But then again, when in an anime realistic?) I felt I enjoyed this more than most other Yuri animes, I felt more fun to watch.

True.
I'd prefer the current Sumi-chan than an aggressive Sumi. I think that the purity of the show is one of it's strong points, for example Aoi Hana and Marimite.
I think that one of the reasons why some of the yuri animes appeal to the male-audiences' is also because of that

Um, that will make the main couple visually similar to Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu.

Yes! What a great episode, in every way: drama, humor, animation (very slightly off-model on a couple of occasions), backgrounds, music, writing, storyboard, direction. And especially voice-acting: of course Takagaki Ayahi was great, but little-known Shimizu Ayaka as Masaki was also perfect. As for humor (with a serious undertone), that one scene up against the wall was totally hilarious.

I was a bit confused at the beginning of the episode as to why Kazama was falling in love with herself.

Yay for traps in a yuri show. Now the love triangle can go full circle!

Sumi's reaction to being called cute was cute, especially the whole pin-him-to-the-wall bit.

Her nonreaction to the guy talking about how he liked her was a little disappointing, though.

Personally, if episode 2 was the first episode instead of the actual first one, I would have had a much, much higher opinion of the show. I think this was a great episode. Also, any man who is cross-dresses just to get closer to the girl of his dreams deserves at least some consideration by said girl. Unless of course you're a Mako-chan and you enjoy it too much.

Looks like I'm back on the boat for this show.

Wow, that was shocking. I was thinking how cute she looked during the episode and then...and then...T_T

Seems like there was still no development on their relationship. I don't know how that guy noticed Sumika's feelings for Kazama and Kazama still didn't; guess she's too hung up going after cute girls.

Shiroth Beautiful fighter. Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: England, UK Age: 37	Spoiler for Episode 02: Solid second episode, just like the first. There was comedy in this episode compared to the first, which is good because there's quite a lot in the source material, so i didn't want it to feel like they were editing it all out. I just adore how this series can display such raw emotions without even having to say much on the topic. The score does a outstanding job at backing up such scenes, does help that the music placement for this adaptation is spot on. Akemiya saying that he finds Sumi cute was always one of my favorite scenes in the manga, and i'm glad it was done well here. It's also good that they didn't give any hints towards him being the girl from the magazine. Such an adorable trap, and so fitting for this story. Poor poor Sumi. My heart is breaking apart having to experience all this again, though i'm very glad that this adaptation is doing the manga justice. __________________ MyAnimeList Twitter

Well, half-hearted denial anyway. Paving the way for Hourou Musuko? Next time they should adapt Yubisaki Milk Tea for anime. It's... just bizarre, in a good way. But it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. __________________ If there's a Final Fantasy game that I must put my personal seal of disapproval on, it's Crisis Core. I mean, just look at how this Genesis Rhapsodos dude is raping the canon. It's bad. As in, fanfiction bad.
