Kamachi is #5 on a list of top-selling Japanese authors (and not just LN authors). He's described as: >The fast-writing prince of the light novel world who specializes in hot-blooded battles. |

Okay, that's awkward using the New Testament's cover as a representation of his work I don't know what the other author's works are about- but to have little loli Fremea up there with the best of them... Awkward...
Not to mention being surrounded by all these old codgers and cows

I don't know, I just assumed there's someone else named 'j206' But what I meant was, what did he say about the whole article? As in his opinion?
Quote:
Who's Oda ? Notice they never say that he gives the readers what they want when it comes to character relationships That's right, no pandering for you ! Delicious? Does that mean something else in Japan ? Who is Kamachi? That's up there with "Who is the man in the iron mask?" or "Who is the phantom of the opera?" or "Who is Zorro?" and perhaps "Who is the Batman?" Don't we all want to know that Let's see.. BokunoTomodachi's Author at number 57, DenpaOnna's author at number 43, OrenoImo's Author at number 31... Don't know who that is that number 16... What about the big ones like Monogatari and Haruhi?

In that period, he produced 4 volumes... But it's startling that it could propel him to number 5 from number 20... Maybe if it's only among other Light Novel Authors, but this covers all the writers in Japan

The comparison to Oda is highly appropriate in this case.
Both Kamachi and Oda, greatly successful authors over the years, have recently hit huge yet sudden strides in popularity for both their works (it's curious how synonymous it actually is). At this point, the difference of sales from the competition is simply disjarring. They're like Accelerator: even for the ones close up the rank, there's a shocking difference in power. |
