For me, it looked like a brighter version of Mahou Shoujo Alice/Arisu(which would be a good thing I'd say =03).

The official title of the movie is now "Majokko Shimai Yoyo to Nene" which confirms that it is indeed based on the manga which was previously mentioned.

At the very least, I'm glad ufotable is branching out from the ultra computerized looks they had for KnK and F/Z. It worked, somewhat, but especially in F/Z it seemed like they were abusing it a bit.
ufotable is one of the few promising new studios around, and having they do varied works with a wide range of looks is very healthy for them and the viewers.

The only abuse was from Berserker, Gate of Babylon, the UFO.

Here. Only some bigger(?) branches (IE Pavilion, Mid-Valley...) have them. IIRC last screen date is at this Wednesday. With 2 other Ani-movies.

Spoiler for My opinion on this movie, may contain some spoilers: Yoyo = grown-up Kanaria? (looks very similar) The characters designs looks quite like Usagi Drop / Honey & Clover's, That cat kinda creeps me, actually... (spins head 360) Yoyo's 'final form' looks like Princess of the Crystal (Mawaru Penguindrum). The ED, quite a good song. She (Komatsu Mikako) is started to become one of my favorite VA. Most definitely will get that singles or her upcoming new album. Overall 8/10 for me, Studio Ghibli-like atmosphere + good comedy + great voice works. Definitely recommend for anyone that likes fantasy / magical girl Anime. Spoiler* for Off-topic: Saw Aniplex's logo being shown before the movie starts, any chance that more Aniplex movies on future? (Unlikely, maybe)
