Is there any official art with regards to Taokaka's real face underneath her hood? She is a character from Blazblue.

How does an aniota like me deal with the Hallyu so to speak? Japanese Culture has been on the decline in Vancouver and the Hallyu has in a side effect reduced the Japanese Culture venues to bare essentials, given the fact another anime store closed where I live this year consecutively is enough to raise concerns about how should I face this. One way was to travel to Seattle where the Hallyu isn't as badly felt but I like to know other ideas.

Not sure if joking, but it's more likely AniOta=Anime Otaku

I'll be damned if I ever thought it would mean that. The only thing that came to mind was The Leopard Society. His post makes a lot more sense now.

Is it that 'blame everything on Korea' thing, that seems to be so popular according to Sankaku?
Even though we are an anime forum, we don't have to follow every stupid thing Japan comes up with, right...

Aye, it may simply be the "next new thing" fad in progress. J-pop was last decade's fad with the short-attention span crowd and now it is K-pop culture. J-pop won't go away (any more than any other fad), you just have to work a little harder to find it.

My problem we are reduced to bare essentials and any chance I can expose myself to more venues is a good thing.

Anyone know what these are called?

Shot in the dark, but figured since this forum has a bunch of users maybe someone will recognize it:

It's a globe roughly six or so inches wide filled with some fluid that swirls around when it's turned on. Has a light inside. It was pretty cool looking, used to have one back in the 90s but dunno whatever happened to it. Wanted to look around online to see if I could find one to buy, but can't for the life of me figure out how to search for it heh.

Anyone know?

That actually sounds pretty cool.

Have no idea what it is, though.

Used to have a globe that had liquid swirling inside when you turned it on, but that was for cleaning air and it looked different.

I also doubt they had anything like that in the 90's, was a fad in Hong Kong around 2007 I think.

Legally, it depends on the jurisdiction.

To me it looks like someone took a plasma globe and stuck lava lamp juice into it.

*scratches head

Actually no, but since "the law" made them "legally related: then it's incest.. Even without law I guess... When it's "declared" as adopted by the "adopter".. its incest too... confusing huh?

If you are planning to sleep with her/him after you adapted him/her.. better not say it to your neighbor or made in "legal"...

Yea, I was thinking lava lamp at first too but every lava lamp I see is that heavier stuff in a clear fluid. This is more two low-viscosity fluids of different density being pumped together. *shrug*
