And you thought Volume 1's cover looked twisted the first time around...

That case doesn't look very thick. Would you venture 2-3 discs in there? Doesn't even seem like it has room for art, either.

It's a thinpack, it'll probably have a total of 6 discs in 3 thin cases, each with double-sided covers

This is probably how it'll be based on the Karin boxset which uses that format

I wonder if it'd include the mini-posters..? I might buy it, but then I'd have to sell the DVDs I have (1, 2, &5). D: Depends on if it comes with any bonuses other than taking up less space.

^^ I sort of doubt it'll come with anything other than the DVDs. That's just my guess though, I haven't read anything.

Look it up under "When They Cry" on Amazon and not "Higurashi"

Actually, after comparing the picture to other boxsets I have, it looks a little thick for a thin pack. It looks like a boxset about as thick as the FMA ones (the smaller, season one: part one-types)

My superGALS! thinpack is thicker than that (and it has 6 or so DVDs). That Higurashi one's really pretty thin..

Looks the same size as most of the regular box sets with dvds and a simple flyer with episode sums.
I might buy it only interested in the episodes in jap with subs anyways. Hate the english crap but most series dont get released here and still hard to get american dvds so ill cross my fingers and hope i can get a copy somehow ^^

In my opinion, yes
But whatever someone thinks of their performance is really up to their own judgment, so asking that will only get you that persons opinion.

Honestly, the voice actors get better when they have more lines. As such, Mion/Shion's voice actor is consistently good, Satoko gets better by Curse-Killing Chapter and Rena is very good by Atonement Chapter.

Rika's voice actor sounds a little better by Time-Killing Chapter, but her "Dark Rika" voice improves a lot because of the previews.

Keiichi sounds consistent, whether that's good or bad.

Theres been a lot of criticism for Rebbeca Forstadt for her voice being "to old" for her. Despite that I highly disagree with it.

Regarding the dub, Megan Hollingshead performance as Mion/Shion was the gem out the entire dub.

Keiichi's VA Grant George really needs to make a con appearance.
