Episode 1
That opening song! There's so much colorful content in that with fiery style. Looks amazing. We got some info dump about fire combustion and the evil entities/infernals that are influenced by them from this episode. It seems to try and get viewers comfortable with the overall tone of the show. We got a lot of characters introduced from the epsiode too, even a bit of Shirna's past. (cute that he wanted to be a hero even as a kid) The most impressive thing about the show's premiere imo is the animation quality. So fluid and powerful with its details. I hope David Productions can keep up this sakuga quality honestly.

Two things stood out about this premiere: the animation, and Maki's design. No need for explanation when it comes to the animation. As for Maki's design, I find it really awesome that the author made a female fighter that is muscular (a bit) as most female anime fighters look like they've never once worked out in their life, Saber from Fate being a prime example. He made her super sexy too, he struck the perfect balance. I really think her design is that great.
The rest was pretty standard shounen stuff. Superpowers, MC with a tragic past that was ostracized by others, a strong hint that his brother survived and will most likely return as an enemy, etc... Not expecting much from the plot. Just hoping for cool characters and nice fights.

Wow, that OP is wild and really gets you pumped. Superpowered firefighters is definitely not something I've seen before and adds quite a bit to otherwise pleasant, but generic setup. Show look it's gonna a lot of fun to watch particularity on the battles and of course there is Maki.
So yeah, count me in unless it takes a massive nose dive in he next 3 episodes. Quote:
